Disabling yaw stabilization sounds like a brilliant idea for certain other twins as well - thanks for the tip, and happy flying!
ОтветитьAwesome flying and review, Pawel!!! 😃
This little airplane seems really smooth for its size! Really nice!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Looks like a nice little plane. Too bad we were not able to do a little chasevideo ;-)
ОтветитьLook like a little kite 🪁 .......
Difference is we use one string 🧵 to controll the kite . And you use wireless string 😂
I watched Mr D battling with the wind at his flying field and the Penguin was a handful in Manual Mode. Down herein Tasmania we are in the Roaring 40s which is the sailor's' nightmare of the Southern Hemisphere and still days are rare. Quadcopters can be scary in the turbulence in my "sheltered" area so as much as I'm tempted I might have to pass on the Penguin. Love the look of it though.
ОтветитьSeriously?...you tried differential thrust???....I can remember back when we only had F3 flight controllers with limited number of servo outputs. Then I saw the iNAV Dev's devote TWO channels to throttles...!!!...Daft idea then, and still is IMO....🤔😳🙄🇬🇧
ОтветитьIt’s a great little airframe but I personally feel the t1 ranger is a much better airframe within this size class. Good review 👍
ОтветитьImagine you're the one RC tuber that didn't get sent a free Penguin, wait, no, every single one did.
ОтветитьIs that the DJI O3 system?
ОтветитьI'm a KISS Ultra pilot who started flying a Penguin with INAV and your videos really help tremendously! I'm running INAV 7 and using an O3 with Integra goggles. The artificial horizon works great but the Horizon Sidebars do not move. Would you know could be causing that? I wasn't sure if there was an INAV/O3 issue or just something I did.
ОтветитьAre you one of the devs for iNAV?
You could 3D print a landing skid for the front nose to keep it off the ground
Did you have yaw stabilization on? Or just rudder mixed into your motor? How much mix did you add for each motor?
I cannot find a way to get iNav 7.1 to use twin motors for yaw axis stabilization because its stabilization section only allows selecting "servos" not "motor". However, you can add in rudder into the motor mix table to get your preferred level of yaw control. But that's just pilot-enabled differential thrust and not gyro yaw axis stabilization.
cam tilt not right, right?
