God of War Ragnarok - Kratos Vs. Garm Boss Fight (4K 60FPS)

U give the god of war an immortal hellhound that's loyal to him and his son that can travel through dimensions. Yeah it'd be a great mount.

I love how Garm at first seemed like it was only retaliating against its attackers. But after Kratos snaps it's neck it's all, "Oh its on bitch."

So Garm runs entierly on hatred, refuses to die, is as savage as they come, is feared by the Gods and is eternally stained with the blood of his victims. And even when free, he is chained, and uses that very chain as a weapon.
When you look at it this way, Garm is in many ways what Kratos used to be.

my dog passed away three months before Ragnarok came out. The beginning scene when Fenrir dies was a punch to the gut, but this had me in tears. It also helped, I started to tell myself that I should stop focusing on how he passed and instead cherish him as he lived.

I've never played Ragnarok, so I don't know anything about Garm, I only know a few things about Fenrir. The fact that Garm is chained must make him quite stressed. If we take it to the real world, dogs, relatives of wolves, also get very stressed when they are chained by their owners. Fenrir was also very stressed after not being able to free himself from the chains made by the dwarves.

Garm was a tough fight, but it was worth it to see Fen again. His mannerisms after his revival kind of reminds me of my own dog, Milo, especially the little happy dance he does when he's told he's a good boy.

Out of all the Norse saga bosses, Garm is the most classic/Greek era-style boss

So was Garm like…born from the same kinda rift that Odin wanted to open? Is that why the mask reacted to him? And how he has the power to rip through reality?

The amazing thing is, mythologically speaking, both Garm and Fenrir are often mistaken with one another as being the same and the father of Skoll and Hatii. So let's just make them one and the same here. Genius.

One thing i absolutely hate about this gane and others from recent days is that constant BABYSITTING that the npcs do with you during a Battle.
IM A FCKING GAMER, i dont need ANYONE telling me who is behind me and what to do.
I figure it out alone, as anyone should be able to do in a game (games are fir that, mental challenge).
Its too distractting to hear Mimit, Freya and Atreus nagging you.

I wonder how much progress atreus would have made if not for kratos.

This fight was much better than Thor and Odin better. I wish the ending fight were more better than this one. But they rushed it in the ending

It's not a God of War game if you don't fight a giant monster.

As a spartan kid, Kratos was chased by wolves on his own, while fighting for survival and scraps against another kids. Imagine how must he feel towards that big dog with its ferocity and souless eyes. Again like a small, helpless kid after a loooong time, while trying to escape from his past.

I had a vision / dream about Garm last night and I just realized that I’m in a hellhound pack in hell and my rank is Omega and he is my Alpha now well why is this happening to me?

This was such a cool boss fight. But man it was pretty tough for me.
