We reveal our comprehensive audio upgrade, transforming the Toyota Yaris Cross with premium components and advanced soundproofing techniques to create an unparalleled auditory environment.

This was our workflow to upgrade the audio system of a Toyota Yaris Cross:

Removing the Interior Panels:
We started by carefully removing the interior panels to access the car’s framework. This allows us to install soundproofing materials and audio components effectively.

Applying Soundproofing Material:
We applied Soundproofing sheets to the doors and boot area. This reduces vibrations and external noise, providing a better acoustic environment for the speakers. We covered critical areas to ensure maximum noise reduction and sound quality enhancement.

Installing the Subwoofer:
We installed an Audison Prima 10” active Subwoofer under the lowest level of the boot. This strategic placement ensures deep bass without sacrificing storage space. The subwoofer is securely mounted to provide powerful bass transfer throughout the vehicle.

Upgrading the Speakers and Tweeters:
We replaced the front speakers with Audison Prima units, which include a 6.5-inch mid-bass driver and a high-frequency tweeter. These components are installed in OEM locations using 3D-printed adapters, ensuring a seamless and factory-like appearance.

Reinstalling the Interior:
After completing the upgrades, we reinstalled the interior panels, ensuring everything fits perfectly and looks pristine. We also tested the system to make sure the sound quality meets our high standards.
