Easy Way To Kill Master Gee - Borderlands 2

Bet it works but i aint gonna try. I tried for hours trying not to get pissed cause i cant do him like any other boss ive beaten in a game; melee or shoot em in the face. When i went back to sanctuary to see if i had a singularity grenade in the storage, which I didn’t so i had to use keys to get it, go back and find out i paid 8 eridium to see his broken boss a** before. And then leaving to come back meant i had to pay more eridium to get more chances i said “screw it f**k em”. Imma leave this quest undone, shade can go kill em ill be doin other dlc.

On op 10 this is annoying because grendades are so expensive

WORKS JUNE 2023. Some tips since no one else wants to be specific:
-activate the respawn point by the vending machines past his arena first. Kill yourself after getting trapped in the arena to respawn here and repeat to only pay eridium cost once (you may need to use an EXPLOSIVE launcher)
-he will "wake up" if youre too far in the arena
-can be done with a non sticky lobbed grenade, but its harder to get the the throws right.
-use the shade and colored lines in the arena to remember where to throw grenades.
-if using sticky longbows, throw at cave/gate ceiling to pull him better.
-sandwhich him between you and the gate to block him
-if using a long fuse time (2.1+ for me), throw a grenade under/outside the gate FIRST. THEN immediately shoot/punch him.
-dump most your money and any good gear you get in a mule charcter to avoid high death costs and keep inventory open. Use open inventory to pick up his drops and sell them at the machine when you respawn to buy more grenades/rockets
-you can use a sham sheild and logans gun(low level preferably) to refill your rockets for free (also good for infinite rockets).
-you can grenade jump to a ledge 30 feet to the left of the gate that leads to a crystal formation. From here, walk/jump through an invisible wall to the left side of the arena entrance every few kills to grab loot that fell through the floor. Explosive rocket yourself to get out.

Can confirm that this still works but I feel like he commonly starts agro when you get him close to the gate. Might just be me. Using a level 1 long bow singularity so he shouldn't really get mad.

Why does it have to be a Longbow though?

I tried doing this trick but instead of Gee being crushed by the gate, the gate crushed me... though it does work.

Where do I get some singularity longbow mods? Does it have to be a Slag element or any element? Going to fight him for my first time

I'm proud i killed him not by doing this, but by survive and make him lose his health of the poison gas.

Why not just save quit after killing him?

Use the Magic Missile, Chain Lightning, or Firestorm grenade mods from the Tiny Tina DLC to regen Grenades. Also Krieg is a bit heavier than most Vault Hunters so he has a very tough time with this method.

Thanks for showing how to kill him with any character as long as you got a longbow singularity grenade to drag him to the gate with a well-timed melee attack to start the "fight."

You have to keep throwing grenades at the gate so he doesn't teleport

Didnt work for me. Tried about 8 times and everytime he glitched into the arena. even before i pulled him to the gate randomly. i think either hes glitched or its fixed.

Really quickly before I forget!!! if you through 2 nades by the gate and then hit him is kills him and leaves the gate open. It just happened for me. Thx for the vid it was a great help!

This little trick is probably one of the Oldest{Non-Glitch, as this isn't a Glitch} Trick to survive all of their numerous Patches, and fixes, despite a previous Patch fixing a certain....Exploit{*Cough*4PlayerExploit*Cough*}.
