The majority of these comments are really missing the point of this video. This is not about Arnold Schwarzenegger 'schooling' The View or being smarter and humiliating the panel. The discussion in this video is good because both sides have valid points based on evidence, they display healthy disagreements with one another, and they ultimately come to agree on the final conclusion. Yes, immigrants, like anyone, should refrain from committing horrific crimes, and YES, statistics DO show that the majority of immigrants ARE less likely to commit violent crimes than US-born citizens. AND politicians DO need to work together to serve the people, and not their own self-interests. Both Schwarzenegger and the ladies on The View are spitting solid true facts. But I guess it's easier for people online to treat this video as a black-and-white 'gotcha' battle. Not surprising, but still sad to see these reactions...

I am also a Legal Immigrant and now very proud US Citizen but telling these ladies how privileged we felt 50 years ago,it’s like whistling in the wind.
It’s a slap in the face,when they assume that all the illegal immigrants especially those that are committing crimes- deserve due process, free healthcare,welfare ect ?

I feel like that's how trump (and every other republican politician) should put their point like how Arnold did here. The hostile tone that Donald Trump displays (which is not very helpful in putting a point as the president of A country, in fact leader of any country, not just the USA) really shades the point he's trying to say (assuming he shares the same sentiment as Arnold), which Arnold delivers very well.

Funny—I actually searched and watched The View just for this interview. It’s so refreshing to see the comments overwhelmingly supporting Arnold. You can tell the interviewers were trying to steer him toward saying something in favor of illegal immigration, but he didn’t fall for it. Good on Arnold for standing his ground. Way to go!
