A hint to horse taming, very easy actually.... Build a cage via piracy put the cage around, knock him out with fists and boom... I have tamed many via this method... Also used this for wolves, cow, etc try it and you'll love it... (Cages are made in Smithy, you need the Piracy perk though)

you don't need cage from piracy if you cant take it itm. Just make tame trap whit 2 doors one ramp door one normal and you stuck tames in the whole close doors after bola so you stuck it and feed them whitout dmg. Tames cannot hit you if you close the doors on the tame.

Dude, out of all people that are doing Atlas content atm, I find your videos the most helpful. You explain a lot of stuff in a way that even a guy that never played this game before, or ARK, or anything can understand the mechanics. Keep it up, I really enjoy them!

With parrots or w/e birds, I sneak crouch to one that's landed on the ground & throw a cage on top of it & Its trapped without noticing

You forgot the main use of the boar, force poop for fertilizers.

In ark the vultures would change the spoil time of food in their inventory, care to test that?

Sadly most of the tames you showed take a Lot longer.. At least they do on official servers. You really should add that you are on a private server in the title of the video. Like "Atlas MMO Pet Taming Basics Part 2 (Private Server)"

i tamed all my horses whit the cage ,i wait till tay stop ,becose tay will always stop after a min or 2 and get close to them and place a cage on them ,i tamed all my horses like thet

Taming a horse is not too bad on a bear because you can chase them down and bite them and bola without getting up. Using the water to tame a wolf is super easy and free because they swim slow. Just agro and run to the water pull out your bow put a few in him and get back to land and bola. Taming a bear and a bull is not too bad with a flintlock and a bow you can shoot them once with the gun and once or twice with the bow and if you're back far enough you can avoid getting hit. The bear also pauses to attack so if you jump at the right time they can't hit you.

Any idea WHY I would want to tame a crow? Any benefits?

Nice tip. But if you can build it's a lot better to make a trap. A lot more eazy to manage one spot than to chese them in to danger.

Do Aoe whistles work on tames on your shoulder?

If u use ur mouse wheel to scroll up ull do a jab which does less damage and is better to use when the bird is low health

Also I thought vultures did melee damage?

The problem though is you make it look easy with 10x taming and an isolated environment with no threat of hostile animals. Also, when trying to tame vultures, you have to deal with the whole flock swarming you since GS needs to tone down their spawnrate.

unless it has already been changed again, in the recent v 15. patch taming through most any kind of structure is impossible, so the use of taming pens only really works if its large enough and shaped in a way that you can reach its head while on the same side of the wall as it.

According to the Atlas wiki :Foodstuffs placed in a vulture's inventory will enjoy an extended decay
timer. The preservation effect scales with the vulture's level.
A level 32 vulture extends the decay timer by approximately 250%. The
same vulture at level 42 extends the decay timer by approximately 290%.

Wait for birds to land then use the grappling hook on them and then run
with them inside a cage. Shut the door and beat them down through the bars, then bolo
them through the bars, easy.

Huh nobody said it yet.. the wolves are afraid of fire. Use a torch and they will not agro. However, once they are agrod the torch won't help.

I’ve found a good sweet spot for the bear is directly in front of it’s snout. It works every time as long as you are not above it on a incline

Anyways use tranq arrows on horses and bola the just before they wake up
