I remember when i was new to the game and watched your first Astra guide, i was owning in ranked after your vid, now i got new tips i never knew such as the fast ult wall and momentum astral form. You are the best. Keep the wonderful work man!

whenever I have to choose controller with good smokes, ASTRA is my go to agent, ability to almost smoking everywhere on the map from anywhere, anytime is so much valuable for me, compared to Omen, too bad many ppl underestimate her, she should be picked more.

I've played Astra before nerf and used ur past guide to help me out, it felt nice that almost everything u said in this video i already sort of apply in game post-nerf (not saying its useless, it made me more aware!!!) I've gone from Silver to Plat right now bcs of Astra. She is such a fun agent to play and my background in MOBA strategy game really helped my mindset as well on strategizing. For people wanting to try it, don't be intimidated, have fun with it and be rewarded with her galaxy brain play!?

I do sometimes like to linger in astral form just to be ready to support a fight that I know I can't make it to. My one thing with astral form is I wish we got the red enemy indicators that we get like omen to support this style though. Have had a decent few times where I can just drop a star on the enemies and insta-pull or concuss so my team wins the fight while I'm rotating over.

Hi, i dont know if you'll answer me, im an immortal player looking to pick up astra, when do u think i should pick Astra over Omen? i'd say her best maps are almost the same as omens (Ascent, Haven) so i am kinda confused as when i would pick her over lets say Omen

As a new player in Valorant, a lot of my friends mocked me for picking Astra as my main, but damn with intense practice and shit ton of guides, now i can proudly say that my friends always need my Astra for Competitive.

Just started sage yesterday and have already implemented a lot of these just base off of my flexibility play style, but the corrections I will make on my plays thanks to this will greatly improve myself as an astra main. This actually helps bc I struggle with the corners. I am fine with the E ability. That’s self explanatory. Smoke heaven and long, make sure nobody flanks. Ok.

But it’s nice for somebody to point out that I should place stars around hard angles. Even if I don’t set them off it is a hard bluff.

I’m not through the entire video but let’s not forget that her C ability can stop defuse.

New to the game, can enemies see Astras stars? Or are they invisible until activated?👌🏼

This might just be people having more experience vs Astra now, but if I ever try to hold a wall at one of the ends of it, I find there's a ~40% chance an enemy just swings through the wall pre-firing right where I would be standing. Sometimes they don't swing, and sometimes they face the wrong way, but I find holding walls like that to be a massive gamble right now. Should I not worry about that and just know that since the odds are still in my favour, it's worth doing (at least as a mixup), or should I only hold walls from less predictable locations/when an ally has a crossfire with me now?

Honestly the way I would explain astra to a new person or a friend that doesn't know why I main her is that she's just a viper with commitment issues.

Brand new Valorant player here and I still don't know like 80% of the agents' names or what they can do... But after going through and reading what each agent can do, Astra is the first agent I decided to unlock. She seemed really interesting and her ultimate is like an opaque Symmetra wall in Overwatch so it felt familiar. I still have no idea what I'm doing in game (as Astra or anybody else lol) and 95% of this video is going over my head but I'm glad it exists. Never knew she had 5 stars before and got nerfed, and had no idea of the smoke+pull combo so I've definitely learned a few things from this vid. Here's hoping I look a little less like a freshie thanks to this video lmao
