I just watched The Soloist, read a few of Mr. Lopez's articles and watched the above talk. I have a son with mental illness and I have not been able to be supportive to him. He lives across the country, and when I am with him, he lashes out at me and I emotionally crumble. My heart breaks at the failure of our mental health systems, an of my own failure. With so many pressing issues today of covid, police brutality, BLM, immigrant children in cages, this must not be pushed to the side. Thank you for your advocacy.

the average age of men who get schizophrenia is between 18-21 years of age. mr ayers was 19. my brother got it at 18. he passed away on january 22nd 2022. he was 58. thats 40 years of torment. hes not suffering anymore. thank you LORD!!

I just watched the movie and is impressed by N Ayers’ story. I got a new insight of Schizophrenia patients. I am so happy Nathaniel has a happy ending.
