Take a lemon/lime and use it as your sponge, I think it cleans faster.

NO, DON'T FOLLOW THIS , DON'T USE BAKING SODA, IT SCRATCHES YOUR HEADLIGHTS. I TRIED THIS BUT TO MY DISMAY, IT CAUSED SCRATCHES SO I USED AGAIN RUBBING COMPOUND TO REMOVE THE SCRATCHES, I USED ANOTHER METHOD, JUST USE A CLOROX, IT WILL MAKE IT CLEAR, IT CAN REMOVE THE YELLOWISH STAIN.

For anyone trying to restore headlights, try turtle wax! You can never go wrong! Thank me later:)

Perhaps Comet may work better, I see you already replaced them but Comet would give similar results but has more cleaning properties imo
