Doctors are miracle workers truly. They did a great job with his reconstructive surgeries. Jj is an amazing little boy and a miracle.

I know his road will be tough but he seems ready to handle it, even at four. I think he's absolutely adorable and you are lucky to have such a courageous, spunky little man. I'm sorry his sisters feel guilty. Part of that is Catholic guilt, something I know all too well. I can't say you'll get over it but take strength from your parents. They are there for you and will never fail you. God bless the whole family.

P.S. I want to give a big shout out to that brave father. You are the epitome of what fatherhood is - a protector of his children.

This whole situation, the attack, the treatments JJ and the family went through.and will go through...it's awfull.
But when I see this wonderful and great family being happy together, even in it's sadness, then I only can say: They are blessed!!! And I hope they will be blessed forever!! 🙏🏽❤️

hope its a reminder to all parents. dogs have dog instincts. protect your babies first and don't take people's shrug offs of their dogs that show aggressive traits or behavior. dogs do have bred traits. but also, they are all dogs. protect those babies. and so sorry this terrible mistake happened to their son. I'm sure he's resilient, wish it didn't have to happen

JJ's parents are amazing, what a lovely couple. The family have a lovely close knit bond.
Their love will be JJ's strength to get through tough times.

You can paint their lips pink but is still a dog! Never had animals inside my house, smell, deceases, viruses etc. All dogs bite, people live in a fantasy world. Never had that problem.

Totally a miracle that this child survived the bite of five pitbulls. I cannot imagine how their parents felt feel and seeing their child so disfigured and I will say that the doctors have done an amazing job. This little boy is a testament of determination strength and will. God bless him and his family.

Once a pit gets the taste of one bl00d drop(usally)they wont stop for cars or jesus himself. My neighbors had a young pittie, he was super sweet. They also had a german shepard(agressive). The GSD and pittie went over across the lake where a farmer had a calf The dogs k!lled it and the farmer sh0t stoney(pitbull) and he died instantly. He told the neighbors if captain(GSD) came back he'd get him too. Close to a year later captain went missing. Not sure if they ever found him but the farmer most likely got him too.

It's amazing he's still can see that he didn't lose his eyes he's a awesome child just to work through all of what he went through and it's no body's fault it's natural to want to help but they would of been biten to that shouldn't not have 5 pitbulls leave them at hope somthing was done with the dogs it's a shame but it's the way owners treat and train then

Our 70 year old friend was attacked by 2 pittbull dogs. She lived a few weeks before she passed away.

What a wonderful courageous family. The little guy is amazing, please be careful about pain medications when he undergoes more surgical procedures . It’s a very fine line between pain management and possible addiction. Wish them all the best

This is the reason I don’t own pit bulls, I have three kids, one reason is I know they are good pets but you never know with pit bulls when they will snap, I will not risk it and people shouldn’t have pit bulls either they are dangerous, unless you will take care of them or have them trained
