How to Install and Boot Directly into Freestyle Dash on a J-tagged Xbox 360 [HD]

@DrunkinSknk sorry to be a complete noob but how do I do that? Can I do this actually on the xbox or do I have to do it on a computer? No idea what I would be doing to be honest :-(

@dhandley22 you have to do it on a computer on a pc you can do it with notepad, on a mac you can do it with text edit the xml file has examples of how to do it check out fsd teams website, there's a lot of help there

@DrunkinSknk i have got a simaller problem i cant see games in game section?? i have set up the path in settings but then only 4 games appear?

when i have done most of that you say, are im opening my device but there are no folder named xbox plz answere

@iMOkayyGB then if you still wanna install FSD the just use the one installed on your jtag

what dash are you using?mine is 12625 so would this work on mine

@bry7s this will work on any dash, just use the newest dashlaunch which is 2.21, i think

@DrunkinSknk installed 2.21 but it doesn`t give me the option to do anything just say install yes/no,then says done.no options at all,eg ping patch etc.is this because i am using a xenon motherboard,heard it/read it mentioned somewhere?

@bry7s should work on any motherboard, try a lower one like 2.11

@TheEverythingGuys Totally different thing. Your console's not Jtagged/RGH'ed and has no capabilities to do this as of yet.

Nice tut. updated mates NXE dash to 14699 but forgot to include dash launch, so it boots straight to the NXE dash. Following your guide I can see XEXLaunc (and freestyle) but selecting either of them it loads but then goes straight back to NXE dash. Any suggestions?

@loyd19 a jtag allows you run run unsigned code on a xbox 360, allowing you to do what you want with it

@AaronPengtao You cant just do it to any xbox 360, the dashboard has to be the original style before the NXE dashboard 2.7.xxx, 99% of xbox 360 can not so this anymore

sir, i just had my console JTAG'ed and has a freestyle dash like this. and while i was switching skins, it suddenly hanged/lagged. so i decided to restart my console. but when after that, the dash was messed up. everything's messed up. i can't see the menus anymore. can you help me troubleshoot this. please?

how about on a hard drive? like 500GB. how do you install the FSD? and at the same time put game in it? a separate HDD its an extention to the xbox360
