Is Genesis Real History? Tony Costa and Douglas Petrovich

@Tony Costa this has been a seriously academic stream - probably more than many can absorb. Nevertheless, thank you for stretching our minds. Would you say that the early chapters of Genesis contain theological truths as their main thrust rather than an explanation of science. For example, we know that Earth is not the centre of either the Milky Way or the universe. However, from the theological standpoint God has placed Earth in the centre of His universe. The first eleven chapters of Genesis are crucial to the understanding of the rest of Scripture. How do we understand the last Adam without understanding the first. How do we understand that the shedding of blood is required to cover sin? Genesis is the hinge on which the rest of Scripture swings. God bless and may your channel go from strength to strength as you seek to equip our minds as well as hearts and spirits.

While science and architecture increasingly proving the truths as revealed in Scripture, the same cannot be said of Islam and Mormonism. God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? God’s word never returns to Him void.

So relieved to finally hear academics believing in young earth creation!

Why english subtitel doesn't available?

the 'pangea' thing is not that convincing, as:
A- the guest says he doesn't believe in a planet that is aged millions of years but thousands of years, (which i do agree). if so how the transformation of the continens, the shifting of the tectonics, accurs in a short time.
B- if the Biblical characters are in middle east, why the 'pangea' theory map doesn't show north america (where is canada and usa and mexico?) and most importantly where is the middle east, the center of Biblical area?

The idea of "the heavens" being dark space is very interesting

The LGBT movement did not corrupt God's bow in the sky. The Pride flag It has only 6 colors But God's rainbow has 7. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
