2024 Acura TLX Type S Review.. Better Than BMW M Lite?

Awesome it's another car that 80% of The U.S. population can't afford to buy.

This car has everything I want In a performance sedan Except the Rubi charged v-6 But It’s all good still ❤️

The 2025 did not receive that stupid touchscreen. The MDX did and I can tell you the I can tell you the center console now has just another cubby hole. Once you get use to the track pad, I think you'll see why it's better than the touch screen. Touch screens are lazy and they are driven by people who like touch screen everything. I bought my 2019 TLX new in 2018. The screen now has permanent wear marks it that look like grease stains. touch screens offer no tactile feedback. That's why manufacturers are going back to simple knob applications. I also have a 2024 TLX. I had driven the 2nd Gen TLX as a loaner several times as a loaner. It took awhile for the looks of the car to grow on me, just like the 2019; a previously owned TL Tech SH-AWD 6MT and a previously owned 1996 Integra LS SE 5MT Coupe. But once you perform the walk away and look back test, you'll begin to understand.

"Designed Injected" : should be a patented statement just like "Precision Crafted Performance."

My opinion is to buy a slightly used Type S. Between the looks the drive and the price you'll save enough money 💰 to take a Vacation.

Prices really increased quite a bit; my 21 A-Spec stickered at $45k back in '21.

The TLX Type S offers so many unique colours, and your choice was a flat Grey.

Why not the Gold or the Pearlescent blue?

Needed a panoramic sunroof. Other than that, this car is perfect.

Back end looks bad imo. Exhaust tips are way too large. needs a better rear diffuser to make it look clean.

Front legroom is only 36in I’m 6’4” i have owned three TL’s in my life I don’t think I can fit in this model..

Looks feels and drives like a Japanese car which isn’t nessicarily bad but when it comes to luxury performance nothing feels like a German car 🤷🏽‍♂️

The interior is ugly, the screen is to little the old tlx looked better so did the interior

I can get about 28 MPG on the S but only on flat surfaced level roads long distance and At Cruising speed around 80 MPH.. The S has a Very Impressive TQ Curve and it can litterly push other Super Cars up big Freaking hills. I have done it before...A Cammed SRT, A Viper, Many Stupid I340s and those Q50 and 60s Its fantastic on the Curvy roads.. The Interior is superiour and has a very classy Classy High Class feel.

All of those nanny modes are making people horrible drivers! They should be banned because people just can't look over their shoulder now, whether they're backing up or changing lanes they rely on the technology to let them know. The light on your mirror for example, that's just a notification, an aid to tell you that something is in your blind spot, if it's not on it doesn't mean you can change lanes!!! I had way too many close calls with people backing up with the camera only!

I am looking at CPO either the RDX or TLX, I do want it in blue though.

His reviews are among the best. Had a TL, and can attest that hours behind the wheel are a pleasure.

It’s definitely a beautiful car but for that price I’d go with the BMW M340i a lot more bang for your buck.

Car looks beautiful. I'd go with a Blackwing or M car only because I prefer manuals.

I’ll get it when they change the interior, and remove the auto up shift.
