am i the only one on the planet that found a 3090 on the first site i looked at and bought one with no issues

The 3090 is a Awesome card no doubt it allows me to finally achieve 60+ FPS in MSFS 2020 @ Ultra settings without any fussing about with OC the GPU(Obvious OC of the CPU is a must of course) The performance in VR is great as well, better than the Asus Tuf 3080 OC which I have as well. My HP VR goggles are working well with the ASUS Tuf 3090 OC that I have. The 3080 is good enough for me BUT for VR I recommend the 3090💖

I just returned the aorus xtreme 3090 due to a burned power channel (the one on the farthest left). It was connected with the 1200w platinum corsair power supply. It was only used for a month and it just went blank...

Thinking of going for this but a 3080.

are you using intel or amd because i have $5000 but i dont know how to buy all components i am scared..

Just bought the 6900xt arous extreme... Hoping amd FXSR delivers becuase it was bloody expensive and i can't afford an extra 600 for 3090

You saved me some heartache. This card was/is (7/14/2021) actually in stock at newegg as a bundle. I was about to buy it on but decided to see the reviews. It looks beatuful but I can't take those huge temp increase.

u got the best reviews man. i find compares vram temp which is prob the biggest issue when deciding what 3090 to buy

Not sure about the Gaming OC but I've heard the VRAM on the Aorus Xtreme overheats and can be easily and effectively rectified by tossing some stick-on copper heatsinks with airflow on the backplate where the VRAM is. Apparently around a 20C drop in temps, and allows for OCing headroom and less throttling. Mileage may vary, I'm sure.

Any idea how to cool backplate during high duty 3D rendering ? it is getting 105'C

I have had a 3090 (XTREME) for 6 months now and I’ve never seen any temps like you’ve shown here not even close 15/20 degrees difference (Lower) air cooled in a fractal meshify medium case.

for the gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC 24G what bios verison do you guys have? i might have updated the wrong bios version but it still works tho, i dont know how to tell what was my previous version tho.

Glad I picked up the Gaming OC 3090. My temps under load for Memory and hotspot never break 75C. But I changed the pads and paste. Seems to be a good card.

Found out, gigabyte thermal pads sucks. I replaced it with gelid and then you see how fantastic the cooler is, would be perfect for the 3090ti

I have this card. The power draw is probably a bit excessive. But….it’s a fun gpu to have. The performance in VR and 4K is great. If you can, use a big open case with plenty of vents. The card generates so much heat, you won’t need to have the heater on in winter.

All this aorus cards and extreme are garbage,even motherboards are bad

Me a 3090 gaming oc for 690$ so I'm here to see just how bad thermals are.

Gigabyte increased memory spec on 2080ti aorus xtreme by 3%

I had this card (the AORUS Xtreme) but sold it because it was terrible. The stock thermal pads were really low quality for heat-transfer and the stock thermal paste was also not very efficient. The card would drip grease from the thermal pads onto the rest of the computer below. The card would constantly overheat and performance would drop significantly. I replaced the thermal pads with Thermalright Odyssey and the thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly, and it performed at stock, however needed a very high fan speed and as a result was very noisy. The cooler must just not be designed very well. I also tried an EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 3090, MSI Suprim X RTX 3090, and ASUS ROG STRIX OC RTX 3090, and they were all far better at stock, and even better after replacing thermal pads and paste. I will never buy Gigabyte or AORUS again after this (literal) mess of a card (due to the oily grease dripping into my computer from it).

Got here a bit late while looking for limits for my Zotac 3090 OC limits. I'm running mine V limited to 1.0V and that allows me clocks up to 2050MHz with the power under 320W. I guess more on that these days on 4090s...

how can i cool my 3090 aorus xtreme ,i just replaced its thermal pads and thermal paste with high ends ones but it still runs hot ,should i undervolt it ? im lost.

I know this is 4 years old at this point but I'd like to share that I regret buying an Aorys Xtreme RTX 3090, even at 800 Euros, 3 years ago.
During summer, like now, the card throttles so hard I don't know if it' s a VRM issue but the core speeds can't keep up playing baldur's gate it starts around at 1100Mhz at 80c when I'm playing through the game the clockspeed drops to 790Mhz-850Mhz while maintaining 81C and the game becomes a stuttering mess, the framerate seems above 70, but doesn't feel like it at all.

I have the aorus and the backplate get so FKN HOTTTTT and I dont know how to fix it
