Thank you! I was just wondering how I help my baby sit up!😊
ОтветитьQue interesante 👍
ОтветитьThanks Emma! ps: your daughter is mega cute 🥰
ОтветитьHi Emma, should a baby be rolling before we teach them this sitting skill? My son is 5 months old and can't roll independently yet but wants to sit. Is this ok?
ОтветитьHey Emma,at what age should I start assisting my baby to sit up?
ОтветитьMy son is 5M old tomorrow and he keeps throwing him self backwards and holding his body in a rigid plank if I try to help him sit in my lap or between my legs. He rolls no problem back to belly, but doesn’t roll belly to back 🤔
ОтветитьEmma HELP this Grammy who's raising her granddaughter who's not good with technology figure out how to find you and your teachings on a regular basis? Not sure where to go? Thx!
ОтветитьMy little one has been sitting up against me for about 3 weeks and she’s just now at 3 months. Should I go ahead and start sit training or is it to soon for her little body?
Thanks again for the awesome video. I love the information you generously offer. It’s been a great help.
What age should we start doing this?
ОтветитьSo should those baby seats never be used? Or is there a correct way to use them?
ОтветитьWow this video came at the perfect time! Our first baby is 3.5 months and is almost steady with holding her head up, so my husband and I were asking ourselves what we could do to help her with sitting.
ОтветитьMy baby is 5m tomorrow and can sit up with help but he sounds like he's struggling to breathe when he does it. Leans forward and does short breaths
ОтветитьThat’s nice, but how do we keep our baby calm while practicing? This is probably our biggest hurdle in any kind of training - he doesn’t sit still for any length of time in any position. Tummy time: he’s rolling and scuttling around in circles. Sitting: he’s trying to push with his feet so he can stand or lurching forward and puking because of the stomach pressure.
I never understood how people’s babies can be so calm while ours is off the walls every waking moment.
Thanks, so hard to get bubs to sit still. Hahaha, my LO is 7 months and is commando crawling every where..sitting is something he just doesn't want to do. He will roll himself out of sitting at any given point 😅
ОтветитьHow do babies get into sitting position from laying down ??
And why do they say NOT to train babies into sitting and that they will do it “on their own time”
Incredibly helpful channel! Our baby is making strides with her motor abilities. Keep up the good work and God bless!
ОтветитьIn Poland it is actually not recommended by physiotherapists to make babies sit up if they don’t sit on their own because their core is too weak. They instead recommend to hold a baby leaning it to the side on the parent’s arm as it teaches the babies to lengthen the side they’re leaning on, which helps with learning to roll and pivot (both come before sitting).
ОтветитьI have to ask, while we are practicing helping our daughter sit independently, what IS recommended to sit baby in/prop her up if she's not yet fully coordinated or strong enough to sit without support? I don't want to cause hip or leg issues, but she seems to want to just sit and explore items and toys on her own. She is 20 weeks/4.5 months and has good head control in tummy time and when being held upright. For those times when I need to step away for a moment or want her to explore without us guiding her, is there a safe way to have her practice sitting and playing propped up (in addition to assisted sitting with adult methods)?
ОтветитьSuper informative! Thank you!
ОтветитьMy baby is 8 months old- she can sit unsupported for a few seconds, she rolls both sides, can feed herself on a high chair and commando crawls or rather rotates all around on her tummy.
however no sign of crawling on knees or sitting up on her own. paediatrician doesn’t seem to be worried. whats your take 🙂
Hello @Emma, my daughter can already hold her head and upper body. She is only 3 months old. Can I train her in these activities now, or should I wait until 4 months due to her spine?
Thanks 🥰
My baby is 10 month old on 11 march they cannot sitt without support
ОтветитьSince my baby was born I’ve been having him sit up in bed, leaning on my legs and holding him giving him support. He had head control by 2 months and started rolling over on his own in the crib and onto his tummy right after he turned 3 months. My question is, did I hurt his back by having him sit up since he was just a week old? He seemed to like it as he was able to look around. He also doesn’t have normal wake windows. He’s pretty much been awake all day with a few short naps here and there since he was a month old and then sleeps all night, only to wake up to eat and get changed.
ОтветитьHiiiiii mam my baby is 9th month running, but still can't sit independently, just trying to sit her tummy position...
ОтветитьMy one is also four months old l will immediately start assisting her to sit
ОтветитьYou can also use the Boppy pillow backwards with the opening in back with parental protection at the back.
ОтветитьHello Emma.. hope u r doing well..
Can u plz show us how to train babies to achieve milestones for the ones who are with delayed milestone development..
I have a baby who is now 1 year old.. but he is a 35 weeker, and had gone through vent in his starting 5 days.. now he has no complete control of his neck.. though he has now started to roll around.. but still can't hold his head upright to the fullest.. so i m really disturbed and want u to guide me how can i go along wd this situation
At what month age I shall start training my baby to sit?
ОтветитьMy LO has reflux and always slides her butt out from under her when I do supported sitting, in an attempt to straighten back out. Any tips?
ОтветитьMy baby is 7 months todwy but still not sitting. Do i have to for her to sit up and then start introducing solids the BLW way???
ОтветитьThe quality of these videos is remarkable. Thanks!
ОтветитьHi Emma, my son will be turning 6 mos this week. He is good with head control and sitting but he is not rolling back to tummy. He can do it if you play with him and guide him. He is good with tummy to back. Is this something concerning? Thank you.
ОтветитьSo it normal that they lean forward? with their body I was always afraid..my son is 6 months
