I do think there is potential for a story of an Albino Wakandan. Like he’s not accepted by his own people in wakanda or the world around him so he forges his own path. In all honesty it kinda sets up a story for almost a Moon Knight style black panther like character. Maybe he keeps the big cat style monicker because he still loves his home and heritage despite the lack of acceptance towards him, but he gains his power through other means (just pick a damn god in the marvel universe and have him as a conduit) idk this idea could have a lot of interesting things come from it. It would also help push the idea that any discrimination is bad discrimination and that you should accept people no matter the appearance. Oh and since he’d have (literally) white skin these racist pricks would have absolutely no choice but to identify with him and see his perspective. (Also this isn’t a story of a white man being discriminated against, it’s a story of a wakandan not being accepted by his own people or the world around him, due to a genetic problem out of his control)

Hot take. Here's the thing, if someone could write a great and compelling story reasoning with an interesting premise, then yeah. Go ahead and write your "white Black Panther" story. I'm all for change and different adaptations of characters. If it's good? Great. If it's bad? Oh well. Try again. I'm always down for new things yo be done with these characters, just don't be boring.

And unlike the people who keep making this argument, my allegiance has always been to the story itself, and not the stupid, pathetic, made-up, imaginary, """culture war""" that left and right grifters have been pushing to farm money off of rage-addicts. Just like I am a-ok with "race swapping" characters if the actor is the right person for the job. Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon was great, so was Micheal Clarke Duncan as Kingpin and tons of others. I am actually kinda glad that Marvel did this type of story even if it wasn't good to show people that making "Black panther white" would just not work well he isn't a superhero you can easily pass on like Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, etc where it would work since the mantle & history has essentially nothing to do with gender or race but for a Black Panther who's entire history has to do with Wakanda & Afria making the king of Africa be white would just not work.
