I just moved from CA so it's an upgrade in everything but the schools! And when people say schools are terrible doesn't always mean in crime, bullying, drugs etc. You can go to the safest school like my son does but the schools are underfunded and understaffed. The teacher get paid horribly so it's hard to find one passionate about their job. My son is autistic so he requires sped classes and his teacher in CA was amazing so invested in his education and she had 3 aids for a class of 14 kids. His teacher here she's nice and all but she has a class of 15 no aid and seems just burnt out she can't give the kids the attention they need all on her own. I really wish they put more focus on education here.

From the 1950’s thru the mid 1990’s it was THE place to relocate to if you could stand the immense temperature shifts. Housing was cheap? Jobs a plenty, fairly low crime. When the valley reached two million by the late 1990’s followed by the building boom, followed by the real estate bubble burst, it became the LAST place you would want to be!! Not a user friendly place to move to by then. Crime, low paying jobs, and overpopulation ruined it like anywhere the human species decides to invade!!😮

Seriously read the comments. This place is a sinking ship. Home prices are no where near 300k try 500k starting. Schools are a joke. It’s hot as fuck or cold as fuck and our freeways are looking more like L.A. every day. Also, it’s a desert and our main source of water is nearly dried up. We can’t handle more growth plain and simple.

I live in hawaii and i could not live 9n vegas visit yes. The people and the way they drive big issues. I mean there's crazy drivers in hawaii also but not as a norm. I asked people who moved to Vegas from hawaii how they like it 1 out of 15 said they like it.
