Chris, your Red Ryzen series gave me the confidence to do a basic Ryzen APU build, which has recently maxed out to 64GB and 5950X, and improved to a 6700XT video card and 1TB M.2 drive! Thanks again for helping me to set off down this particular road!
ОтветитьJust built a 5600g machine as a bazzite build its an amazing apu
ОтветитьCongratulations Chris on 10 Years of builds and still only 29 year of age?....:). I just hope I'm around when you do your 1st Quantum Computer build....they should have 50 terabyte drives by then and 3D cameras at 16K so we can experience the build just like we are in your lab...:)!
Have a great day!
Great guidance for enthusiasts/makers out there! Well done 👏 I have an old windows 10 PC and looking at upgrading for windows 11 and beyond. A 2025 article detailing a future proof system for windows 11/12 upgrades/evolution would be most helpful
ОтветитьBuild videos are always of interest. Congratulations on ten years!
ОтветитьYour green PC build, was the very first video I saw of you. With it you deserved my subscription back then. Many thanks for all the great videos and happy anniversary!
ОтветитьTime fly's.... When you mention some of the years they seem like just the other month.
ОтветитьI do believe that I, watched each one of those builds as they were presented. Love this channel, every Sunday without fail. Thank you sir.
ОтветитьHappy 10th Anniversary 😊
ОтветитьAmazing to see how much more powerful computer internals have become in such a short amount of time. Thanks for a walk down memory lane. I look forward to a time when you purchase a camera that CAN look through steel, so your build steps can be somewhat streamlined! Thanks for all your hard work Chris! Congratulations on 10 years of producing EC! Take Good Care.
ОтветитьWell done, Chris. Love the channel. Keeping the BBC vibes of yore alive. :)
ОтветитьCongratulations on your 10th yea, Chris! 🥠
ОтветитьCongratulations on 10 years good sir 😎
ОтветитьAh yes, those heady days of 386x builds and deciding whether or not to include a coprocessor. 0~o
ОтветитьYay. Only 1 request- you had ads which start in the middle of a word. Can you fix those?
ОтветитьCongratulations !! You gonna take Mr Scissors and Stanley somewhere nice ?
ОтветитьCongratulations Chris!
I am not a long-term viewer of your videos.
I joined your audience only recently looking for tips on switching from Windows to Linux.
This switch happened a few weeks ago, but in the process I discovered a lot of other valuable threads
that I am currently digging into with pleasure. Including the Mini ITX standard, which I am a fan of.
I wish you many more years of publishing and sharing your knowledge on the channel!
Leszek (Poland)
Thank you for your efforts
ОтветитьI for one very much appreciate the level of effort you put into the making of your videos.
Ответить@ExplainingComputers
Has it really been a decade? I first discovered your channel in 2016 and I never missed a video. I'm a tech geek with a great deal of experience and knowledge, but from you I have gained even more knowledge and insights I might not have otherwise. Thank You good sir! Cheers and here's to another decade of fun and interesting info!
I really appreciate the effort you put into making these videos! Here's to another 10 years!
ОтветитьOkay, but when do we get the BARNET-ell CPUs and GPUs?
;)
Congratulations on 10 amazing years Chris. I love a good compilation video 😁
ОтветитьJust keep on doing what you do. This channel has been excellent for explaining everything related to computers!
ОтветитьCongratulations on many years of creating such highly educational and insightful content! Your dedication to sharing knowledge has been truly invaluable, and I appreciate all the effort you’ve put into making learning accessible and engaging. Wishing you many more years of success!
ОтветитьThanks for 10 years of great EC videos! Where has the time gone?
ОтветитьAlways like the build videos Chris. But the SBC project videos are great too (more of those please, with motors and sensors and cameras, oh my! 😊). Congrats on 10 years, and thanks for a great channel. 😎👍
ОтветитьI would like to thank you Chris, for your great tutorials. You truly are a very gifted teacher and your clear and concise videos inspired me to try my hand at doing my own builds. So far I have done one major upgrade on a thrift store find, one build from scrounged parts from three old computers along with a few new bits, and a from scratch build of a HTPC. I am currently shopping parts for a new daily driver and planning a higher end video & photo editing / 3D modeling system.
I blame you (LOL) and THANK YOU for my new found addiction!
I am looking forward to any and all upcoming build videos.
Congrats for the 10 years
ОтветитьIn my opinion, it is a new computer when the motherboard is replaced.
ОтветитьEthernet wiring... Hamster feeders... Weather stations... I'm trying to find the common theme here, but I'll admit I'm struggling.
ОтветитьI remember thinking in 1996, "Should I buy a computer?" And, "What would I do with it?" ... Well, I did buy a Windows 95 computer, but didn't even know how to switch it on? I was baffled by hard drives, files and folders.
Wind on almost 30 years, and am I glad I ordered a PC from my mum's mail order catalogue, paying weekly for it! ... These days my PCs are an essential part of my life. I couldn't imagine my life without information technology.
The Mini PC has been a game changer for me. Small, quiet, powerful, and energy efficient. My ancient self-built desktop, Orac, rarely gets booted up. It's mainly used for ripping CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray.
I would be very interested in a, for you, really out-of-the-box challenge: finally seeing what that third major platform is all about. Explaining Computers should learn a little, and learn us a little, about MacOS. Get the cheapest M4 Mac Mini and perhaps get Jeff Geerling on the phone for some banter with a like-minded spirit who already knows a lot about Macs.
ОтветитьConscientious and outstanding work. Congratulations!
Ответить10 years of wooshing
ОтветитьCongrats on the decade of work! I find myself always sitting back to enjoy the episode. You have a great way of explaining things simply without talking down. As someone else said, you should absolutely treat yourself to a mega pc! Go all out. Enjoy it.
Ответить10 years..wow I believe I've been here for most of them . Looking forward to the next 10.
Ответитьgreat Video. It's nice to go down Memory Lane.
ОтветитьCongratulations for the 10 years, i'm still salvaging socket 1155 system and trained people to use Openoffice & Linux Mint for office usage.
Most people in 3rd world countries can still use 2013-2014 Intel system for daily usage, thou it's really hard to migrate for SBC system, but you can help them, i've guess.
• Fedora Silverblue and I use AMD
ОтветитьThanks a lot, week after week we are waiting for your video! Rhaaaa, so many memories!
ОтветитьChris, as usual a very fine video, thank-you!...Question: how is it possible for you to keep your systems so immaculately clean?...are you folks in the UK experiencing a shortage of atmospheric dust?
ОтветитьHaving an integrated CPU can be handy when you are debugging
ОтветитьI thought all the builds were brilliant and they really helped me out, so i must say thank you.
ОтветитьWould be interesting to see you do a series on servers.
ОтветитьExcellent, Congratulations!
ОтветитьPlease, if possible, cover these new, exciting AMD APUs with rtx4070 level iGPUs.
