7 WOOD v HYBRID v DRIVING IRON - Don't buy any of them before watching this

I have added elyte 7wd and ditched the hyb s and swap between my 4 iron and 7wd depending on the course I'm playing trump aberdeen has alot of raised greens and 4 iron comes in to hot but courses that I can run ball on then 4iron is fine

Can't rip my 7w outta bag! My buddies tease me with my very fast speed (116 driver 93 irons) but the 7w for me 102-105ss goes 220-230 and stops on a fine! It's a brilliant long par 3 or great second shot club. Just had to go stiff KBs Tour TD 80Cat5 TX it's my go too most consistent wood

Also cheat code for me. When off Fringe too far for putter too close to chip or I'm nervous to chip too far I choke down on 7w and putter swing again buddies made fun of it until they saw it work over and over again. I'm still new to golf so chipping sometimes up close you get nervous and you skull it so the seven would just calms the nerves and you just do a nice little putter swing and it goes right up over the rough fringe and rolls to the pin.

I have both but 4H is in the bag because it's a zero practice club. If you can practice or have the skill, 7w is a weapon.

Really interesting video that shows the perils of following tour trends when those clubs might not be the best fit for you. Great advice again to get him back in for a dedicated 4h fitting. I know when I’ve tried 5&7 woods, I’ve preferred the shape of my hybrids and been more consistent with them too.

My 7 wood is the best club in my bag....

I replaced my 3hybrid with a 7wood a few months ago. The 3 hybrid was good but on occasion i would hook it. For me the 7wood hits straighter and higher. I definitely hold more greens with the 7wood over the hybrid. One drawback is the 7wood is terrible out of the rough.

There's nothing easier to hit than single length hybrids.
A 19 degree hybrid at 37.25 inches is way easier to hit than a 41 inch 7 wood.
The hybrid is better out of the rough and it goes high enough to stop on the green.

I don't like 7 wood as it flew too high for me and was problematic in the wind, I prefer 3 and 4 hybrid along with my 4 wood.

7 wood is a great weapon,out of rough ,choke down,open face wee bit,gets out every time,lands like a butterfly wi sore feet.
