Thank you...your content is always great
ОтветитьEvan, Are you still in the field working in EMS or do you focus on primarily education now?
ОтветитьI want to pursue this as a career and i’m very lost at the moment. What are the requirements to become an EMT and is it even worth it making it a long term career. Where do i even start?
ОтветитьI’m waiting to take my NREMT I just passed my emt final with a 87
ОтветитьLove your videos man, Pre-PA and I’m taking a semester off my bio undergrad major to do an EMT program at my community college, excited to become an EMT-B and hopefully be able to move up to A-EMT before PA school
Ответитьit is excellent information you should add a little more such as five more reasons why has it become an EMT
ОтветитьThank you for your video. I wanted to ask about your training videos, how up to date is the information so that passing the NR is possible
Ответитьwhat are some colleges that have emt classes
Ответить1.) I want to make a difference in peoples lives directly
2.) I want to be in a position where my choices will make that difference in someones life individually
3.) I want to better myself every day by helping others
4.) I want to answer my calling, whatever it may be in this world, and I feel like EMS will help me achieve those goals
5.) I want to take advantage of the life I have and use it to give back to the people of my community
"You could go from nothing to EMT to Paramedic for under $10k." Or, if you're in SE Michigan (and look up Medstar), you could get PAID for EMT and get Paramedic for a contract -- that way you're literally getting paid to upgrade your skills and overall value to society. Pretty cool, eh?
ОтветитьI was in school to become a Medical Assistant & I didn’t fit for me. I really want to become a EMT.
Ответитьhow to become a paramedic
I'm from Indonesia
🙏
ОтветитьTotally agree except for the speed. I'm not fast but I have a rhythm. I retired after 34 years and loved every day.
ОтветитьI want to do EMT cause medical and politics have always been in my family and in EMT I get to learn so much and feel like I make a difference I will have so many opportunities and options like switching to nursing or going the paramedic route which is what I would love to do and I can take what I learned with me in life and into any job I go to it's a valuable education and knowledge to learn and I plan on doing scholing through my life and being able to to pick and have the variety in schedules is a plus for a life long student
ОтветитьI'm looking at entering an EMT program in the spring after 24 years of being a pharmacy technician. Pharmacy has been pretty much a dead end for me, but after traveling to 12 different states last year working at vaccination clinics for FEMA, I learned that I enjoy working with different types of people. The one thing that took me a few days to get used to was causing pain to patients for their benefit.
ОтветитьBummer seems like the price of your program keeps going up.
ОтветитьActually, I have never had any reason to become an EMT or a paramedic, and I don't know why I need it. I just have felt that I need it since my school days. And your reasons sound very good, and my confidence that I want to become an EMT or paramedic became stronger.
Unfortunately, I couldn't enter medical school in my country, and now I don't have any chance to go to EMT school. I hope that one day I will learn English well enough, win a green card, move to the USA, study at an EMT school, and will finally begin to help people.
Thank you for your video. It will help me on my way.
What about 24 hour on calls due to your week schedule
ОтветитьThis is not for everyone tell the truth
Ответить#5 is WHY i want to do it. I have always loved helping people and wanted to be a emt cop or fire fighter since I was about 8. I have 5 kids, been there done that, ready for a challenge and the reward of helping.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI plan on becoming a physician assistant but I think that being a EMT will prepare me for this job. Am I right?
Ответитьtrying to convince my mom that this is actually what i want to do. adding these to my list!!!
ОтветитьI would quit drinking soda and drink a whole crap of water and exercise a lot
ОтветитьWhat about the pay? Sadly they don't pay much for all they do! The risk they take daily !
ОтветитьSay you go through emt training and don’t like it. Where would you go with that training afterwards?
ОтветитьImagine literally saving someone’s life
ОтветитьIm still in grade 10 , and im watching ur videos to be ready for my senior high school 💪💪💪
ОтветитьHi, I'm new to EMS and recently subscribed to paramediccoach. Have been watching videos every chance I get, really impressed and grateful to have these as a guide.
Most of the advice given seems to be directed to career EMS. Most services around me are volunteer and unpaid. I'm starting EMT-B in January. Any advice or guidance you can give for part-time, unpaid, rural EMS would be welcomed.
So I don’t have my high school diploma or ged do you think I can still be an EMT?
ОтветитьFrom your video, i know this is a perfect focal point entry into any medical pursuits with many added personal perks.
ОтветитьI want to become an EMT but, do I need a driver's license? On the website Joinfdny it states I don't require one but for the EMS one it is required. I'm still not quite sure.
ОтветитьLet me know in the comments what your "top 5" would be and whether you agree or disagree with my top 5 for becoming an EMT!
