I believe in free will with existing constraints. Existing constraints are close enough to what most fatalists would consider fate. An example is winning the geographic and socioeconomic lottery. If you're born into poverty and chaos it would be absurd to think you had the same choices as those born into money and order. Within that is free will. But beyond that, every choice you make is a further constraint, until at last you have no more choices to make.
