Thank you! I give my pugs raw baby carrots and blueberries as a treat but am steaming carrots now. I’m including all of the foods you mentioned now! I’m so sick of all the chemicals in my expensive kibble knowing that I’m eating healthy (99% homemade) . The dog food they sell really should be illegal 🥲😡. I would like me to make a homemade dog food for my mini schnauzer. He’s 3 years old…I had another schnauzer many years ago & he had to have his calcium oxalate stones surgically removed. It was a tough recovery for him. I’d like to be proactive by giving my mini schnauzer a formula of low oxalate foods & proteins & supplements. I’m looking to see what you recommend. I just joined your Utube page. I’m just assuming that the oxalate stones are the most common for schnauzers but they cannot be dissolved w a special diet. Pepper, doesn’t drink a lot so I add water to his small portion of wet meat topper to increase his fluids so he will eagerly urinate. Could you pass on a diet I can cook for CAL OX stones as a more preventative approach? Thank you! He’s only 15#…eats twice a day. Looking forward to your recommendation.

Hello, are raw spinach ok? If I give my 10kg dog 1/4cup of raw spinach will the oxalate content affect the calcium absorption or is it fine?

I changed her diet because the expensive kibble we got gave her uncontrollable poop. She is eating a whole foods wholistic diet now where I add a variety of protein- beef, chicken sardines, gizzards liver, and use Dr. Harvey miracle food and vitamin supplements. Her cloudy eyes are shiny, her fur is shiny and she enjoys food now. We had her spade a year ago and now discovered a adenoma on her anus. So I am looking to try your chag, neem ,castor oil paste to see if I can shrink it and incorporate more veggies in diet. The vet bills now are too high with big Pharma that I want to avoid to lengthen my dogs life. Food is health.

I have two cairnterriers. They love peas, carrots, broccoli, apple and i sprinkle turmeric in their food every day . I eat carrot and apple everyday so I share with them.

I will now add some oil, flaxseeds and youghurt.

One of my dog was diagnosed with Addisons disease and chronic inflammatory gut.

I have treted her with camomille infusion on her food for months.
Later a ten day cure with Aloevera.

Then dandelion leaves, milk thistel infusions in small doses.

She no linger have gut problems and the symptoms of Addison has stopped. I sm very glad I decided to read a lot about natural remedies and not start a life long treatment with kortisol.

I recently lost our dog Molly on May 13, 2025. She had melanoma cancer. I believe an allergy medication prescribed by my local vet. I wish we had a local vet like you. Who really cares about k9’s. Not big financial wealth!
