Harley Benton Enhanced Basses | Demo | Thomann

Im about to get my first own bass, I would go for an even cheaper base like one of the starting harley benton models but I wanna get a nice bass thstll last me getting better,snd this will do. Like most all of Harley Benton it beats all the compeition in the price range.

If anyone from HB is reading this, how about doing one of these in SBK, or just black?

"I'm a little bit tiny..." - so lovely. Dear Julia, how do you compare this bass to Sandberg's? What is string spacing on five-string bass? It looks pretty wide, unlike on Harley Benton MB5. And one more thing, maybe I missed this information, but... is bridge pickup splittable? Thank you. By the way, you, Davie504, Nissa Hamzah and Danny Sapko and that's it. All other "BassTubers" may go home, I can't watch them. You four are the only ones I can listen to, watch and trust. Thanks for that too 🙂

Hi, great comparison and they seem very good value for money! Would it be interesting to conpare these 2 with the JP-45OP and JJ-45OP? Just an idea as these 2 are also well made, only passive but with Alnico pick-ups? Best regards and thanks for this video!

Jackson js 2 with active pick-ups and that awesome Jackson neck and fret work for $199. Why pay more for less? Also it has 24 frets

Harley Benton makes fantastic beginner basses and guitars. If you are on a budget or a beginner I would recommend them. The price is crazy low, but expect to add about 50 to 60 US for shipping to the US. It is still worth it IMHO, and if you get a couple of basses or guitars you can save on the shipping that way.

How much does it weigh?

Enhanced MP-4EB Creme seems amazing

The 5 is neck unbalanced because of the body material. You get what you pay for. Great for a begginer but if you can spend bit more I think sire is a better option.

Zero frets a5re on either high end of trash guitars. Thats trash!

Please start selling Harley Benton products on Amazon Canada. You’ve got amazing basses and amps but the Duties , taxes and shipping suck. I’d gladly pay 15-20% more for the convenience of amazon. Just an idea

Its just unfortunate there isn't a US outlet. Affordable basses, are not affordable when you have to add $90 shipping.

I always love how comically large bass look on Julia.

What i love about my MP is that when the pickups are blended i can get both the fat neck sound and midrangey bridge sound just by moving my hand instead of switching pickups. And the sound of slap has such a nice balance between the two

Finally bought the MJ-4 and it´s a fantastic intrument! The finish is excellent; the hardware - especially the bridge is from another planet; and the bass is not that big! It´s a way lighter than the HB Fretless JB (which has the weight of a tank) perfect!

Definitely the second one for me... the blend on that sounded gorgeous!

I have played many different mid range basses over the years (the big boys are a little hefty priced for me at the mo) - but I recently bought a Harley Benton bass and it just blew me away - its not just the quality of the instrument that is fantastic within the budget - its also the fact that they come set up really well too - without much tinkering you can pretty much play it straight out of the box - this review has encouraged me to consider a few others to add to the collection. Brilliant stuff!
