Bro, if you'd not undercharge people and over charge your games and systems, you'd be just fine ...... But like GameStop, you have your stuff 10x over priced........ You cheap out on your customers when they bring stuff in, just so you can over charge......
ОтветитьHiring friends, especially Musicians for a GAME-STORE, is no-no. 🤔
ОтветитьPhysical media will be a collective media
ОтветитьRetro games are a fad
ОтветитьFinally got to check out the store and it’s awesome. The biggest game store I have been to around Arkansas definitely will be back.
ОтветитьSuspecting Physical media will last your generation and maybe your sons. Obviously, It is really popular now.
Unfortunately, i'm not sure about the quantity of stores as there are now. Depends how well y'all branch out
and adapt with the coming waves.
Personally, im older than you and i don't care about physical media..i love the streaming online world.
I wish more games stores also dealt in physical movies. Also records, especially video game records. A one stop shop for physical. They would get all my money
ОтветитьClick bait
ОтветитьYes Physical Media is coming out to the end. The Switch will have a Slot for the current Switch. Will it for that generation games? We will see!
ОтветитьPHYSICAL WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьIm lucky to live in Bend, OR where we have the last Blockbuster. I drive by it every morning and it makes be both sad/comforted every time I see it.
Ответитьbig ups Retro Rick
ОтветитьI love the passion you have for your store.
The older physical media gets the rarer it gets. I believe the price of physical media will skyrocket when these things become time pieces
Everyone and everything sucks.
ОтветитьClickbait rick
ОтветитьI love rick but I forget him n riff are maga Trump lovers
ОтветитьIf you want to market , market saying it’s your game and no one else’s. Digital is tied to the company, download access can end anytime from the company. Digital is never yours , but physical is.
ОтветитьYou can get DVD's, Blu-rays, and CD's at your local library. And they usually carry new as well older films and music.
ОтветитьI think they're pushing that PS5 is the last gen for physical games. Switch 2 will have physical copies. But if we demand it we can keep it alive
ОтветитьNever would have expected to see Sukihanna in a Retro Rick video.
ОтветитьHow much money is in that store right now??
ОтветитьI could see physical becoming more niche like with vinyl records & how they're still being produced. I'm not against digital games, but I'll always prefer physical & even have some games sealed still just in my back pocket for when it becomes harder to find or get them so that I can still experience the nostalgia & magic with opening a game.
ОтветитьYou'll never truly own digital media. You'll always own physical media. Call me old school cause I am (40 years young lol), I want physical to stay and even if it goes for a while, I think eventually it'll come back
ОтветитьI absolutely love your channel
Ответитьso once physical media disappears will we see a massive price hike in second hand games
ОтветитьTHEIR EATING THE CATS
ОтветитьGameStop has just started opening Retro stores; idk if it’ll be successful.
ОтветитьIt would be very strange for the Japanese at Nintendo to stray away from physical media, the design of the packaging, the manual within the package, the labeling on the game and the design of the packaging. I don’t think Nintendo would go full digital.
Ответитьmake an actual website man. online orders would go crazy
Ответитьif the next nintendo concel is diditel only im not geting it
ОтветитьI don't mind stopping my collection at ps4 & xbox 1. I could buy and sell from generation 1 til 8 and I'm good.
ОтветитьIm willing to bet Switch2 will be backwards compatible with current switch games and still have physical games. We might squeak out ps6/Xbox series X2 having a disc drive, but getting physical games will be harder and physical releases will be more limited. I probably buy 30% of games digital when digital sales are a lot cheaper than physical. I’d be more inclined to buy digital if we have more consumer digital ownership protection.
ОтветитьWhere did you buy the rugs?
ОтветитьFirst they got rid of Manuel booklet in video games then they started selling digital copy of games now they want to get rid of physical copy all together. This sad times
Ответитьman, i love Retro Rick, but dude has been baiting his store closing for years now. shits lame.
ОтветитьWhile traveling across country I discovered Lafayette, Indiana still has a video rental store in their city.
ОтветитьPhysically is the only way I purchase my media
ОтветитьThat was cool that you used a clip from Ghost of Mr Chicken.
ОтветитьI don’t mind digital but I want physical too, some games you just want to physically own.
ОтветитьHave you guys ever thought of renting games or other forms of media for nostalgia sake?
ОтветитьDepends I guess. Look at vinyl records today. Its out selling CD and has decent shelf space even at Walmart while theres no CD at Walmart. 4k Blue Ray is still doing ok but thats mostly cause of home theater buffs.
ОтветитьIt's more than just the same thing done a different way due to generational preference. What GenZ needs to understand is that they DO NOT OWN those games. At all. They have a license to play them for as long as their device holds up and the company bothers to support it. It's not the same thing, and I think a lot of people are in for some cold reality as more digital stores begin to close down and people see their collections vanish. And maybe that will renew interest enough to keep physical media alive at least as an alternative. Any old PC people will remember, we used to buy the game and install the discs to the HD, and that was it. We put the discs back in the box and didn't worry about them until we had to reinstall. A digital store license is like your buddy coming over with his discs so you can install his games. Super cool, but what if your HD crashes? What if you upgrade? What if you call your buddy up again and he moved away, or maybe he unfriended you because you keep posting "I do not authorize facebook to use my images" posts. Bottom line, you don't own those games in the digital store. If I were you, that's the angle I'd take when talking to younger gamers.
ОтветитьI spent some time working at Blockbuster... I have membership cards, and I can guarantee you'll never see the accounts we made out of boredom!
ОтветитьI may have to stop watching due to the way you pronounce SNES. Lol
But seriously, physical media is the way to go. I will never go digital.
physical forever. live long and prosper brother. only buy digital if there no physical.
ОтветитьDo you sell online ?
ОтветитьI think as long as you’re here and your store is open we ain’t got nothing to worry about. I love physical copies myself that just means your place will be the place to go.
Ответить
