All the setting are correct but still microphone is not working. Even troubleshooter could not find the issue.

My mic still doesn’t work and I have tried everything and it’s plugged in properly

I'm not sure what step fixed it but one of them finally did! I've been trying all the solutions found online and though you're solutions didn't seem different, obviously something was, and my microphone finally works again! THANK YOU!!!!!

My Mic works for every program, no issue.. HOWEVER. in windows 11 sound properties, the test shows no sound and the volume shows no sound. Tried everything in this vid, and then some. Not sure if I should try and fix it since it works for every program, other than windows 11.

tip: when u plug in ur mic/headset u will get a little notification on the bottom right corner just click on it and pick what u just plunged in

trying to record my game play using Xbox game recorder on windows 11. it will get the sound of the game just fine but it never lets me record with voice. this is so frustrating .

Turns out the microphone randomly disabled itself in the windows settings!! Didn't even know it was possible but thankyou for fixing my problems!!

My problem is I have a windows 11 ASUS Vivobook. Yesterday I bought two Rode NT mini USB microphones for podcasting. The software is not picking up any of the microphones sound. But in the windows voice test it does. I have tried everything, even different software for recording two microphones at the same time but nothing works.

I tried to plug them into my HP windows 10 and just plug them in and download rode connect and instantly it works without doing any stupid configurations.

Can someone please help me because I’m going nuts?
