Have you tried to run ADoom? I can only get 17 fps, on the Blizzard 1260 if you use BlizKick it speeds it up to 35 fps....

Wolfenstein runs fine on a 286-12 with even the lowest end VGA card. Why it needs an 060 to run on an Amiga is a mystery to me.

how did you connect the AMIGA to the monitor, scan doubbler?

Lovely card these, supaduper built mine and I'm really pleased with it. I've a Freescale LC on it which can't go beyond 63mhz but that iirc is firmware related, still happy though.

Gadget I did not hear you mention it but WhichAmiga will read the CPU internal ID. Apart from Rev I think it reports factory speed

The RAM CPLD gets the hottest in my experience. So with the CF card on top there is not going to be much air flow. I'm wondering if it is overheating when you push the overclock up? My fan blows over RAM CPLD first.

A 060 without an fpu is like a dog that can't go woof 😒

I would really love an 030 with tons of ram in my 1200. It is still stock config (not upgraded at all)

Nice vid Gadget 👍🏻 I’m still using the retro cards from Phase 5 and DCE. Such as the blizzard 1260 and 603e plus cards with PPC. I’m under the impression MMUlib by THor also replaces the need for Blizkick from what I read? Personally I’m waiting on the Warp1260 cards as these have more features like RTG, Network and USB built in as well as a Heatsink and fan combo when you crank up the MHZ. As others have said a Good PSU is a must for the faster cards 👍🏻

I am sincerely sorry to hear about your health issues and hope things improve. Also your insane soldering skills vs mine is like comparing a crawling toddler trying to beat Bolt in a race. Some of the IC's you added I thought had to be machined; fantastic skills.

I know how you feel when your health refuses to let you do the things you want to do. As a MS sufferer I sometimes get days or even weeks when you your body says no. Soldering small LEDs and wires become very difficult. Stay safe and never let your health get you down. This heat in the UK does not help.

Quick question, if I may: do you recommend putting an IDE terminator on the 1200's native IDE port since it's no longer needed? I would think it might speed up boot times?

Don't get why someone could make an accelerator open source and then start to complain about someone "cloning" it. Is not that the purpose of opensource ?. In place of winning about it, he should have done it closed source from the start ?.

I overclocked the 040/25 to 40mhz on the 68k side of my old ppc card and it made quite a difference a 040 at 40mhz runs quicker than you think 🙂

Is the black Revision 1D a special edition. Have the green TF1260 Revision 1 with the 68060 Rev 6 CPU on it.

Hi I have a Compact Flash card and no boot on the TF1260 interface.
It boots on the 1200 IDE interface. Where is pin 1 on the TF1260 board's IDE interface?
Is it to the left or right with 1200 facing front? You have the red stripe on the right. It lights up for a second and then there is a, black screen and the CF card light goes out.
If I reboot a purple screen appears. Thanks.

Where can I buy 3M thermal two sided sticky tape stuff?

A tip: Use at least three times more flux and just hold the chip down with some tweesers while you slide the soldertip with enough solder left to right a few times. The solder will sit much better and won't bridge. With too little flux, you'll burn it off before it can do it's job properly.

Is anyone noticing the extra long boot up time on A1200 using EHIDE.DEVICE pre installed on latest 3.2 roms.. I get double speed around 4 mbps over the standard onboard IDE header, a noticeably improved folder browsing speed on workbench. But the 10 sec boot time is bugging me ? Kind of makes me want to put the non custom 3.2 roms back and boot from the internal header. Im using SD card and there is no long ribbon cable between the card reader and the TF ide header.

Hi there, ime watching this a few years later, is there a simple option where i can buy this 1260 in kit form to make without all the faffery of forums & messaging & 99 annoying things ? I would really like to make one of these, i actually have a Motorola 060 chip ive had sat here for 6 years ready to go in it but sadly i cant get the kit or even a pre-built board.
