This is the real battle that changed the war.
ОтветитьHitler to Gen Poulis: Do or die. I am promoting u to field marshal
Gen Poulis: GTH, i am resigning from my post ASAP
There is great anxiety in Pulus' eyes, panic and fear that are being tried to be calmed!.
ОтветитьAnd all the while the German flanks were weak as kittens. Hubris on Hitler's part. HE should have withdrawn the 6th army and allies while he had a chance to redeem at least half his army.
ОтветитьMind you, Soviet casualties aren’t even believed to be accurate for this battle. The figures given are just estimates that the Soviet union counted after the end of the battle and they were known to greatly deflate the amount of casualties they had during World War II.
ОтветитьFun fact: Humans are amongst the only animals dumb enough to run At the guns, as well as the easiest to kill.
ОтветитьRussia’s trump card, its rubber resilience.
ОтветитьIt was crazy
ОтветитьWasn't there a Sabaton song based on this battle
ОтветитьThis was really stupid by the Germans
ОтветитьBut Americans try to act like D day was the day German lost the war they lost after linagrad and Stalingrad
ОтветитьNot quite sure I wouldn’t have sue the river as a natural defense rather than sacrificing soldiers…
ОтветитьAverage life expectancy for a soldier at this battle was 17 minutes thats how bloody it was
ОтветитьI love this video, but I find it sad that there is no mention of Hungary at all, only Germans, Romaninas and Italians... Hungarians had similar numbers and casualties as the Romanians, yet no mentions
ОтветитьOne the most brutal battles in history
ОтветитьMost bloodiest battle in the world war 2
ОтветитьThere's no good or bad guys.
There's strong and weak guys.
If you want to learn from the eyes of the German soldier who personally participated in this battle, I recommend the book called Blood Red Snow.
ОтветитьThey should have waited untill winter was over and strike after
ОтветитьWhy did I never see that video before??
Ответитьi love the moderen stuff even more then i love the other content you make
ОтветитьNice cartoon, dude.
ОтветитьОсада Сталинграда не настоящая!
ОтветитьDead wrong! Stalingrad was NEVER part of Case Blue. In fact, Hitler's generals ALL said Stalingrad should be left to starve (militarily) while the oil fields were secured. The offensive was going so well that Hitler decided that the army "may as well take Stalingrad" while they continued to take the original target, which was the oil fields.
ОтветитьYepp. Despite nearly 70 years of propaganda the reality was that it was the Soviets who defeated the Germans.
And they made enormous sacrifices in order to do it.
It’s an insult that this is very often not recognized.
Us help against the nazi was great and important, but it was that… “help”.
Quite the reverse happened with japan, which was mainly defeated by the us, with the soviet contributing by attacking the japanese on the asian mainland.
Your English so there’s no excuse, BarbaROSSa
Ответитьsounds like the Germans really didnt want to admit that failure and kept digging there own grave, making the situation actually worse
ОтветитьFebruary 2, 1943: When the elite soldiers of the Red Army won the battle against the overwhelming German odds at the battle of Stalingrad with Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus and his entire 6th Army troops surrendered to Georgy Zhukov and Vasily Chuikov.
ОтветитьWhen Hitler divided Armeegruppe South into Armeegruppe A and Armeegruppe B, sending them off in 2 separate directions with 2 separate objectives (Armeegrupe A- Caucasus, Armeegruppe B- Stalingrad) was a FATAL mistake. Neither one of these 2 groups had the requisite strength to be able to accomplish either one of their assigned objectives.
ОтветитьThis one single battle changed the tide of The war
ОтветитьStalingrad was a war of ego Between Hitler and Stalin
Ответитьeasily one of the most important battles in human history
Ответитьjesus manpower is so important
ОтветитьWhen batman knok out
Superman.
Reds vs nazis typical "in-yer-face" example...
ОтветитьJust a grate a day a and nice pleasant I'm Peter soto Manalo a our minister a in a goverment a complete a all kind
Ответить🇩🇪🥹😔⚘️
ОтветитьNice
Ответить“He could not cross the threshold of immortality.” Hitler’s scorn at Paulus for not committing suicide shows the utter contempt he had for his troops.
The war was lost before it began. Stalingrad was the lethal dose of radiation for the Reich. Mind you, it was already sick.
after Kiev campaingn, german continued to focus on southern side as they did in 1942 to get oil, the outcome may be different.
ОтветитьNowadays, nazi=russian...
ОтветитьЖизнью своей потомки обязаны Вам. Никто не забыт, ничто не забыто. Отгремела страшная война, травами окопы заросли, навсегда запомнит наш народ лучших сыновей своей земли!
ОтветитьI have to wonder how things would have gone if Hitler had focused more on Baku and the other oil centers in that area and less on Stalingrad. The amount of oil Russia would have lost and the amount Germany would have gained would have been crippling to Russia. Then Germany could have focused on Stalingrad.
ОтветитьThe Weather saved the Reds
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThe politics put aside, you have to agree on how Tenacious and efficient Germans fought in WWII ,3 largest empires of that era fought and struggled against Germans and German allies! All incompetent ,biggest of them was Italy which was a laughing stock actually. If only they had better commander in chief than Hitler I'd bet the whole eastern Europe would have spoke German now.
ОтветитьThanks for all the great videos!
ОтветитьI couldn't take the orchestra endlessly tuning up in the background - aand cliked off ...
