I love this video, but I find it sad that there is no mention of Hungary at all, only Germans, Romaninas and Italians... Hungarians had similar numbers and casualties as the Romanians, yet no mentions

Dead wrong! Stalingrad was NEVER part of Case Blue. In fact, Hitler's generals ALL said Stalingrad should be left to starve (militarily) while the oil fields were secured. The offensive was going so well that Hitler decided that the army "may as well take Stalingrad" while they continued to take the original target, which was the oil fields.

And they made enormous sacrifices in order to do it.

February 2, 1943: When the elite soldiers of the Red Army won the battle against the overwhelming German odds at the battle of Stalingrad with Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus and his entire 6th Army troops surrendered to Georgy Zhukov and Vasily Chuikov.

When Hitler divided Armeegruppe South into Armeegruppe A and Armeegruppe B, sending them off in 2 separate directions with 2 separate objectives (Armeegrupe A- Caucasus, Armeegruppe B- Stalingrad) was a FATAL mistake. Neither one of these 2 groups had the requisite strength to be able to accomplish either one of their assigned objectives.

I have to wonder how things would have gone if Hitler had focused more on Baku and the other oil centers in that area and less on Stalingrad. The amount of oil Russia would have lost and the amount Germany would have gained would have been crippling to Russia. Then Germany could have focused on Stalingrad.

The politics put aside, you have to agree on how Tenacious and efficient Germans fought in WWII ,3 largest empires of that era fought and struggled against Germans and German allies! All incompetent ,biggest of them was Italy which was a laughing stock actually. If only they had better commander in chief than Hitler I'd bet the whole eastern Europe would have spoke German now.
