French Barn Acrylic Painting for All Skill Levels

I love this painting. It is a painting that I can envision myself in. I love wildflowers and just enjoyed learning how to paint this. Thank you so much Ginger and Jon! This was fantastic. I am so looking forward to the upcoming paintings in the Ginger Cook Academy of Fine Art and Acrylic Painting. Wow!

Ginger, I really appreciate the mixing color lessons you did in the beginning of this video and all the rest of the painting tips. When I watch you I always have a pen and paper and I take notes on what you say and how to mix. Jon I LOVED LOVED LOVED the commercial with Ginger in animation. Ginger, I love this painting. Have a few more surgeries to go and then I will be back to painting again.

I use parchment paper as a palette; it's easy to clean, you just throw it away. I also spray water on the leftover paints when I finish; it helps them last longer. I learned those tips from a friend artist.

I am French. I play the video at slow speed to ensure I understand everything. However, there is one color I am not sure about, it's the grey you are using. I hear "paint grey", is that it?

A question: you always seem to start with a tinted canvas. Can you explain why, please?

I need a painting for my son. He is in farming. This one he should like. I was sick a long time and not painted. I now have 2 terminal diseases. Trying to give everyone close a painting to remember me by.
