Microsoft Secure Boot is a component of Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system which relies on the UEFI specifications’. So before proceeding you need to understand clearly about what is UEFI and BIOS. UEFI and BIOS are basically low-level software that starts when you boot your PC before booting your operating system, BIOS has been around for a long period and it’s outdated. And Most of the motherboard manufacturer shifted from BIOS to UEFI, BIOS normally uses Legacy boot mode and modern UEFI uses secure boot mode to boot the operating system. By the year of 2020 manufacturer will completely stop the production of BIOS Motherboards. So it’s very necessary to know about UEFI and how to create windows UEFI Bootable USB. This article will guide you to create Windows UEFI Bootable USB Drive in Windows 10.
How to Create a UEFI Bootable USB Drive to Install Windows 10 or 7?
Giant companies are updating their systems to the modern day to be compatible with the software. Mac computer users GPT whereas Microsoft uses both MBR and gpt. In other words, they are called legacy and UEFI support. They are most likely used in the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) to boot the operating system.
The legacy BIOS has developed two decades ago, and although it had improved a lot since then, basically it was based on the structure of 16-bit processor mode. 1 MB addressable space, PC AT1 hardware dependencies, etc. Nowadays PC hardware platforms have had amazing changes and OS has also evolved from the early MS-DOS 1.0 to today Windows 8, Windows 10, and so on. Thus, a new firmware structure was presented to meet the current powerful OS and hardware complexity, providing us a PC device with high performance and low power consumption.
In order to upgrade PC advancement, an initial effort to solve these concerns was made by Intel, defining a new BIOS firmware interface, called EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) in Spring 2000 IDF (Intel Developer’s Forum). EFI is viewed as a significantly improved replacement of the old legacy BIOS firmware interface making PC faster and more efficient. The EFI specification is now managed by the Unified EFI Forum and is officially known as UEFI (Unified EFI).
Create a GPT bootable USB for Windows 10
There are two methods that you can use to create UEFI bootable USB for Windows 10.

2. CMD is the other option
Why create (UEFI) bootable USB?
(UEFI) Bootable USB, just as its name implies, is used to boot non-OS computer or OS corrupted machine.
• Bootable USB drive can help to repair system when your OS fails to boot.
• Bootable USB stick can assist you back up the hard drive without booting Windows when Windows is unbootable due to damaged boot files.
• It can help you to install operating system. For example, if you want to install Windows on other hard drives or other computers and you don’t have an installer disc around, it is time to create (UEFI)bootable USB key using Diskpart or other tools. This bootable drive has all the necessary Drivers to boot the machine. So downloading an ISO file to the bootable drive makes the preparation done.
However, either to use third party software or to use Diskpart in Windows, you have to figure out how to create a bootable USB.
