It's amazing but terrifying how the perception of AR compares to plain ol' boring regular reality. It almost feels like AR is a non-drug induced psychedelic trip!

Right now my thoughts are that it would be a sad day when I prefer AR over real reality...but who knows? Maybe after a year or two of use (or "indoctrination") I would prefer the Matrix...take the red pill or the blue pill? Either way, we will step away from life as we knew it.

When I walk outside, I want my VR headset/glasses to completely and dynamically map out my environment, and overlay the theme of my choosing, whether it be walking in a Cyberpunk-esque city, or something akin to WoW's Silverpine Forest. My question is this - will VR/Mixed Reality/Augmented Reality devices ever get to this point?
