Great fun, it stirred a lot of great memories, I ran a Scammell Explorer for 22 yrs, the first few with a Meadows petrol in it. You got super lucky with the Mag, anything you want to know about the Meadows, specially carb tuning to get rid of popping, banging and backfiring just ask.
ОтветитьScammell john o groats to lands end charity run, or would you rather use a tank?
ОтветитьThe undead beast lives. Nothing more says "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" as the sight of one of those moving towards you on the road.
ОтветитьChicken oriental. That was great fun to watch.
Ответить-Good to see Teddy coming out to surpervise as usual.
-"You don't need to worry aboot yer truck being on fire/ parked between the lines!" -Probably some crazy mouth-breathing hillbilly mechanic from Grovedale, Alberta
-Many decades from now, in the fringes of the irradiated wastelands, the Shamans and legend-keepers will gather around the fires to tell stories of the legendary Hewes clan, of the Wrench-Bender Tribe, and how they brought the old War Wagons back to life.
These old girls were true ladies incredibly reliable never let you down ran as smooth as silk. We could even suspend tow the awful Leyland Martian faster than the Martian could drive itself. These old girls would do about 45 and pull the world round - One small tip for filling the radiator is best done using a watering can simple.
ОтветитьHow are you guys feeling about sending your troops against Russia without US support? Your govt is freaking bonkers.

ОтветитьSounds really good
ОтветитьKeep thinking of what’s the crack of starting a 2025 truck in 2100 after sitting for 20 years plus gonna be like!
ОтветитьYour govt is cooked. Just being honest. I love this show and i love your guys channel. I hope that we can some how come to grips with eachother. Your govt is pushing your young to war. America i sure hope will never back up another war brought to us by the Brits as in ww1 and ww2 which lets be honest were mostly brought upon us by Britain. No more supporting British European wars leading to United States kids dying and bleeding for you. You are welfare states at best.
ОтветитьLoved the old Scammell parked between two things with Land Rover badges on them that aren’t fecking Land Rovers. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

ОтветитьWow! Awesome vid as always, I can't imagine the sense of satisfaction when something like this Scammell starts up or any other vehicle you do so you know where you stand with it!
Omg taking that to Sainsbury's and filling up, bloody hilarious, I'd love to have seen people's faces.
Great show! Reminds me of riding my Harley sportster today.
Custom short 2" pipes and Cams!
A great daily driver for those town errors. You never have to worry about paint scratching or door dings.
ОтветитьJesus ! Does your yard - driveway ever dry out , seems like your constantly working in mud.
ОтветитьLove that Scammel. My Grandfather drove one back in his army days in WWII.
ОтветитьHave you borrowed any tools from Matt Armstrong yet? You know he's 'well equipped'!
ОтветитьGreat job Lads ! I thought you were going to go to makkers drive thru to get happy meals and fizzy ! 10 minutes to the litre doesn't sound badly if you say it backwards ! Hugs for Ted ♥️😉🙃😎 NZ
ОтветитьThe old girl runs pretty good. 15 Q about $20 US.
ОтветитьAn eccentric marine engineer in a small NZ town where I once worked fitted a Gardner 6LW (diesel) engine in a mwb Land Rover ... " the noisiest LR in town" he used to boast. He had to extend the front end of the LR's engine bay by anything up to a metre, but that vehicle was an absolute beast for launching large marine vessels.
ОтветитьThat was an absolute "Cracker" of a video lads. Cheers fm 🇦🇺
ОтветитьFantastic bit of mint kit. Love it and the genius efforts to bring it to life. I agree that a little wash and off for an MOT😅. Cheers lads and Ted too.
ОтветитьThat Dist is a Magneto and you can spin one out of the vehicle and see a massive spark.

ОтветитьWe love the smell of Easy Start in the morning….. Great channel!
ОтветитьThis channel is a perfect replacement for Top Gear and The Grand Tour. A few friends messing around with vehicles and occasionally doing some serious work. Excellent effort once again.
ОтветитьLike a Swiss watch.
ОтветитьPoor thing running on one carb at idle.
ОтветитьHey Joe, i hope the petrol you spilt from the fuel pump didn't burn your old fella.😂
ОтветитьG'day again, what a Beautiful Battered Beast still going strong, keep up the good work Lads! Armadale West Aust.
ОтветитьMagneto I wouldn’t have taken that bet
ОтветитьWhat kind of engine is in that truck? (The yellow truck, I may have missed him mention it)
ОтветитьEnjoyed the ride out, you three should take a grown up next time incase you get yourselves into trouble 😉
ОтветитьGreta got short legs- maybe was hers!
ОтветитьAwesome truck, great for the zombie apocalypse, cheers
ОтветитьI could with one of them, if it was diesel.
