Got my second acl surgery done with the repair of the lateral and medial meniscus and the LET procedure on my knee. 5 months after surgery I can run 3 miles pain free and so happy I feel relatively better🙏🏻

I have my surgery tomorrow after i tore my acl while playing basketball in the fall before my senior year that I had very high hopes for 😢. Wish me luck.

Are you telling me that this can't heal on its own? You're telling me that prior to these operations, young people in their 18's 20's etc who tore their acl were screwed for life without recovery to becoming normal again at such a young age? I'm pretty sure you can heal and mend them naturally over time??

I just had this surgery + meniscus and some other ligament reconstruction. It took me 4 months to get ready for this surgery

It is the worst graft out there. If you don't want to walk without pain and no longer kneel for the rest of your life, this is the graft for you. This graft is only meant for professional athletes. You don't wanna know the amount of steroids athletes take to deal with the pain from this graft. Quad graft is replacing the pettla graft. In other words, don't be a idiot like me and get this graft. pick a hamstring or Quad graft. Or even better, a bear implant but do not pick a pettla graft it will make you regret life.

Very cool and accurate presentation. Some surgeons will use a cadaver graft or hamstring graft instead of the patellar tendon I prefer the technique shown here. I’ve posted LIVE surgery on my channel if anyone is interested. Stay safe.
