I think Joe Milton is more IMPRESSIVE to watch than Drake Maye. For a rookie QB, who has never played at all, to just come in and make all the right decisions, and thread the needle with Bullet passes to his (weak cast of) receivers, and move the chains, throw TD passes, and score points (on a Team that doesn't never does) -- with no real negative plays is REMARKABLE! This guy clearly HAS SOMETHING! Whereas Drake Maye only won just 2 games in the Entire Season, and Maye never played well when the score was still close, and when it mattered. You won't find a better rookie QB debut than what Milton just did here. This guy can make plays ... I don't care what the draft order or "depth chart" is. When you have a QB who just makes plays ... that's what you want, and that's all that matters. Amazing QB start.

Best QB prospect I have seen in my 40+ years of football. I said this in April when M;ilton had his awesome combine (normally I sleep over it in any year), I will say after his first down day when he throws 3 ints (everybody does now and then).

He is the better athlete and has a better throwing motion than Maye, a quick wrist to let balls explode out of his hand, literally. I thought the stories about him able to throw a ball 90 yads was a myth, until I saw him at the combine. Awesome talent.

If he get a chance to play constantly, his footwork, reading skills will improve. Only injury could stop him after that.

And who said he cant throw short? Ofc the talking heads and fanbois... But it never made sense to people with 2+ brain cells. If you can heave a ball far and fast as he does, you posses A+ throwing motor skills, thus managing short throws is a gimme. No matter what college fans said prior combine day.

The eye test never lies the first pre season game he played he definitely balled out and since then you can tell he has gotten better I know it’s against backups but when he started to play I thought was seeing a young cam newton ( but a better thrower tbh) play and Im from nc and was there when cam came in so I know wht it looks like and Joe is gonna be a star watch especially if he keeps practicing and keeps studying film watch out cuz I could see him competing for maye spot

He looks soooo smooth in the pocket even when it's collapsing. Has an insane arm whether the feet are set or not. Can scrble and do zone read and was really accurate.
