From what was shown, for me it's the Tex Creek special edition, the MG Earth Skills, the Pasayten and the Longhorn. Not digging the others much. Not big on Tops. I find most designs over the top, to the extend of being gimmicky and tacticool, also heavy and uncomfortable. However, there are around 10 models I really like. To the above, I'd add the HOG, the Idaho and the Silent Hunter, the Viking Norseman, the Yacare and the Durango Hawke. The TSK, the Overlander, the DART and the Hazen Legion might make the list, too.

Do you know if all of the Tex Creek knives similar to yours have the wide scales or is that only per the more expensive special edition models?

Topps is very good but not great

Fantastic series. Tops are my favourite knife brand by far. I have 7 at the moment, the only drawback is that they are quite expensive here in the UK. My favourite is the SXB followed by the Operator 7 then Tracker 4. I also love my BOB, MSK 2.5, BB Cuter and Key. I will be ordering the SXS for Christmas then Scandi Trekker. All are very well made, fit and finish is perfect plus I find that the design is faultless. I am also proud to support USA manufacturing rather than Chinese rubbish. I have been into bushcraft for more than 50 years and have a large knife and tool collection but Tops stands out as the best.

BRAKIMO 👍 I have used mine since march the handle is a bit thin BUT I actually dont mind it now at all. The edge geometry is wicked brother i dont know why but dang it works great. Some edge geometry just does that some times I guess its the right formula , its like a bushcraft Bk2 survival knife but not as thick .

I have a love/hate relationship with Tops knives. I LOVE my Tops Tibo in S35VN. It is in my ECD rotation. I own a couple of other Tops knives that I like. I HATE that when I see a Tops knife in a video or article, they tend to be discontinued. Its like Tops spits out so many models they have to stop making a few in order to keep up. I also think a bunch of their knives look like mall ninja knives.

I have two Tahoma Field Knives.
It hits the spot for me.
First one has the sharpened wedge. And the second has a serrated swedge (I actually had Leo make the first serrated swedge, and it seemed to catch on).
My wife owns our third TFK, but she likes her Longhorn Bowie better. 😉

I love my TOPS knives. I never got a box ever, but I would just toss it, so could care less. Everything else is more important to me. The Whistle, better than a business card as its useful. Never needed it, but have one on my keychain also. Got the Wild Pig Hunter recently, so sweet. Its a tactical knife and great for dispatching a hog or other large animal.

3 weeks ago I ordered my first TOPS... now I got three and planning to get a second CUT 4.0 😂

Two years later this series still holds up. I like how it was not a fan showcase but a frank discussion of ups and downs of the brand by two seasoned knife nuts. Top quality content Gentlemen! Thank you!

Decent knives but insanely expensive considering the very basic materials. Especially if you're outside the US. Their prices are absolutely ridiculous, custom & higher end knife prices.

I'll get a TOPS knife soon.

I'll take ESEE mainly due to the warranty. Apparently you two have more $$$ than I do.
