Last year, What Car? Magazine, a UK-based publication, surveyed 14,000 car owners and asked them to share their experience with faults in their vehicles. These faults were then classified in 14 individual groups which included battery, bodywork, brakes, engine, engine electrics, exhaust, exterior lights, fuel system, gearbox/clutch, interior trim, non-engine electrics, steering, suspension and other.
