@guiny you have to remember that the debug menu when you open it also has about 100 fps or more time limit no idea why but it happens unfortunately so you should get a real fps counter for something like that

meanwhile bedrock vanilla doesn’t care what it runs on

If you get farplanetwo, vubic chunks and cubic world generation in 1.12.2 and with correct settings you could get up 60 million chunks render distance with 60-100 FPS but it will be like distant horizons!!!

When you have f3 on the fps gets lower

I have Lenovo Thinkpad T470s for gaming. Its getting 60 fps in minecraft java 12 render distance
and 12 GB ddr4 2400mhz . Its record for fps is 1200.

I have a 4070 ti super and somehow vanilla minecraft on low settings doesn't reach more than 400 fps bruh

Ur FPS actually decrease if u open the f3 menu, so u would get even more FPS.

Console 100% helped me in adjusting to a standard of 60 fps, I know some people find 40fps playable but my brain just won’t allow me to enjoy something at anything below a smooth 60, and I know some people refuse to play anything below 90fps which is crazy to me, as long as I can reach 60 smoothly I’m good

but if u do this shaders just wont be an option anymore because it uses almost all of your gpu memory

Fun fact: Nvidium still uses LODs like distant horizons but the lods aren't just a downgrade quality of the blocks but a merged chunk (like 2 blocks merging into one)
