I have to add the following, I was doing a deep research in Macbooks with M3/4 Max Chips, to find out why the macOS competition is so hyped. What I found out is that the M4 Max is NOT the best option for the bucks in terms of power, yes it is in terms of battery and power consumption, but the money you pay to apple (as usual) is way too much compared what AMD for example have to offer. Just go for a Desktop computer in your studio, You won't leave that cave with your monitors and interface on the go... get a decent windows laptop for half the price so you can do your minimal work when you are moving..

Didn't Cubase 14 also come out. I use both Studio One 7 and Cubase 14. Love both for different reasons.

Bro said chromaverb is new in 11 lol it's been out for like 6 years.

I personally disagree with recommending any Beyerdynamic headphone. Mainly due to the fact that they have poor treble accuracy and also suffer from wide unit variation - so from a "studio" perspective they are far from ideal. The only thing they have going for them is build quality.

Hey Reid, do you use the Rosetta versions of your production apps OR the native versions? I've noticed a significant drop in performance when using the Rosetta versions (as I would expect)...

The best DAW is Digital Performer (and has been for as long as it has existed). The best computer is a Mac. The best plugin is FabFilter Q4.
