I didn't even realize they animated this...the manga has barely went anywhere.

looking back at the first episode, no one would've expected this much of a character focus on her and her relationship with the mc. Like, we all thought she'd just be a minor side character the mc just beats with hard work. But no. We actually see her have a degree of emotional depth, and an actual compelling story line. It's amazing to watch. Bruh.

This fight was too bland for me, they just kept going back and forth with the upperhand. No equal strength fights, just one after another power up until the mc finally won since he's the mc.

Lame as hell.

I started this anime with low expectations and turned out to be one of my favorites of the past years

When I saw this moment in the manga it practically cemented this series as one of the greats for me.

The cocky blonde bitch archetype is PROPERLY subverted, as instead of simply being beaten, Angelica later gets to see how much stronger she can become when she puts her mind to it. She actually learns something of value from Rick other than "bulli bad". She gains the motivation to work hard alongside him and become the future self she's been shown.

And of course, seeing Rick tone his power down and match her level was quite impressive. It's not often you see your MC put themselves in someone else's shoes to solve a problem from their perspective.

This was one of the better 2024 animes imo.

I thought it's gonna be an epic beat down after the clip I watched of that blonde girl getting brutalized but it's all just blabbering with no rage at all 🤮

the show was tropey as hell, but this fight and a few other moments (not all being the lovely elf lady) really gave it the depth and gimmick it needed to have some staying power. Not much staying power but enough to keep me interested for now.

What is the name of the anime

This show is nothing fabulous or legendary in the great scheme of anime BUT the story , character development and how are they are portrayed have a honesty goodness in it , that just i cant dismiss .
I truly want to see more of this show and im afraid that we will NOT get a second season...because of how generic the basic premises are.
Its IS a hidden gem , if you want something light and fun to watch while you wait for a new season of your preferred show to come out , take a look at it.
