Warframe: Grendels Crankshaft - The Masseter

Word! My Umbra is now an immortal DEMON with the combo of Daikyu (with its amalgam mod) and the Skiajati (admittedly with +200% DMG rivens on both). Condition overload corro/heat/slash build, some Primed Fury, and you get nothing but pure satisfaction hearing it click back into its sheath after you just mowed down 20 armored, lvl 90+ grineer without taking a single damn point of damage. Tack on some terminal velocity on that already buffed Daikyu, via the new exilus slot... and you also got gutting range options. The bow is ALMOST hitscan like that now. Minor delay of a split second that is only a factor at actual range. I love it. I love it!

As for the crankshaft. I've not crafted it yet, but I will. Right now I'm using that 7 day booster to speed myself along with adding exilus mods to my already beloved weapons. Most of the time I find myself needing to apply one if not two MORE formas to these weapons to make use of the exilus mods. But worth it!

With the new CO, are you not better off using EITHER CO or PPP, not both?

I adapted to melee 2.0 like 99.999% but do still have some minor problems but those are just some oofs on my end

I’ve found running a speed mod in place of pressure point deals more DPS since the condition overload change. So long as you have a respectable status you’ll deal more damage faster

I'm able to kill level 100 corrupted grineer heavy gunners with my prisma skana without riven so I'm happy

I did a heavy attack build since attack speed doesn’t affect it that much, and with the special synergy effect with grendel it just makes it even better, it’s not crazy strong but it is fun

The right click combo with the Rare stance mod (forget the name) turns the weapon into a blender. It is now a new favorite of mine :3

I know everyone thinks it's a crank-shaft, but with that fat bastard running around with it, it looks like Robo-Shawarma.

Instead of spin to win there is now heavy attack slam to ham. At least that's how I survived the survival mission of the grendel part. What a massive pain. Had to see a proctologist afterwards.

While I don't like the grind of everything else, the melee changes at least have given me all sorts of new life in several weapons, and some of them have become even more ridiculously fun to use laughs in Arca Titron

Kinda wish this was a new weapon type, like a club.

l think the simplified way to do combos is a lot better but the combos also seem worse for some reason. Like for example the forward combo of Flailing Branch seems to have way less momentum which just feels awful and kinda ruins my Zaw.

They should nerf heavy blades speed a lot

Ive actually been using the Arca Titron again with the heavy slam attack, the x10 slam buff from the weapon itself, high status with 3 dual mods and the new damage buffs. It's pretty nice even if a bit slower, the slams do rediculous damage once it is all stacked up

I haven't used it in fact this is really my first close look at it and it really does look like a crankshaft. It sounds pretty cool and yeah the weapon changes have been pretty dramatic in some cases with one-handed swords all seeing large buffs.

So, whats the word on the scoliac? Can I still hear my critssssss or is it useless no?

Could you do a re-review of condition overload and blood rush? I know they’re both plenty powerful still

The hate scythe is now the best weapon in my opinion, it has a amazing combo builder and a very good mix of hybrid.
