A light mode for your theme would be great.

ОтветитьGreat!
ОтветитьThe prompt "This reminds me..." has COMPLETELY transformed my thinking and notes. Thanks Nick!
ОтветитьHi Nick Milo
ОтветитьHow do I get this theme?
ОтветитьAre you using “That’s interesting” as a cue or prompt?
For example: AC606 is a revenue standard. I think “this interesting” and should act on that cue/trigger.
OR
Use as a prompt: That’s interesting because “public companies are required to be compliant with the standard”.
After thinking this through, its probably both, but still curious on your take.
What happened to Yolanda Gibb's episode of the second LYT Conf playlist. The rest seem to be there but that one is missing? Just though it should be said.
Thank you for wall that you all do.
Note taking is fine when you are short on time or doing something unrelated or get a spark of creativity or insight... as long as you revisit your notes later when you have the time to sit down and get into research and contemplation mode and then you can note make out of your notes you took. Revisit is the key here.
ОтветитьI just found this and it's pure gold! Thank you so much for this.
Too bad I missed the event. Is there any recording of it? I found some "LYT conference" videos on the channel but not sure this is all and no playlist for the event. How can I watch the rest of it?
I've been doing this intentionally for about a year now and it's transformed the way I take notes. I will take notes, then chase down the relationships to other things, at least three other things. After this, I try to take a step back and see if there's a mental model linking these together that I can make explicit.
ОтветитьNo-Ma (note-making), leading to Se-Ma (sense-making)
TIMO: thoughtfully in--meaningfully out
JOFO: joy of filtering out. [Reducing noise, increasing signal]
Your videos are the best. Ty sir
ОтветитьNick, I first found your channel when I was looking for a way to help myself organize my thoughts while working on my novel. I was lost in the weeds with Scrivener and Notion and I knew something had to change.
I can't thank you enough for the tool kits and frameworks you've shared on this channel. The quality of thought and research put into the LYT kit is something I aspire to.
You have inspired me to dig deeper into my curiosities while having more confidence in my own learning process. 🙂
Acronyms (abbreviations spoken as a word): NASA, FoMo, SCUBA.
Not acronyms (spoken one letter at a time): CIA, KGB, HDMI.
Just wow!
ОтветитьHello Nick , Wow , leaning back or leaning forward , Wow .. this one simple example changes countless life . Wow and Wow. For sure , it changed my thinking and working .. Thanks and Thanks Nick ..
ОтветитьThe NoMa prompts
