such a good tip!!! any hope of doing the Fancy X kitchen table or desk???
Ответитьgenius!
ОтветитьMY HEROES!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 👌🏻🔨
ОтветитьOMG...the answer to one of my biggest problems! I was trying to figure out to make a bigger table saw platform....well forget that now! Thank you for the simple but very helpful post! You girls rock!!
ОтветитьWe don't have to worry about ripping plywood here in Australia.
ОтветитьI saw a plywood video on TOH; rather than two pieces of lumber supporting the plywood, we're now using a sacrificial piece of rigid insulation. No worries about the blade depth or damage to the flooring that way either! And, the plywood is COMPLETELY supported!
ОтветитьGreat Ideas Gals! Thanks for Showing That Anyone Can Do This!
Ответить"It's not masking tape, it's painters tape haha". Love you guys lol. Waiting ever so patiently for the new bed plans. Eeek!!
ОтветитьI'd like to see how you rip 2x6s on the table saw and keep them straight? And be careful walking on that plywood, don't let it pinch!
ОтветитьGreat tips ladies! 👍🏻
ОтветитьI saw non-matching (see red) where you ladies pointed. 🤔
Ответитьi just bought the 12" sliding miter saw but the laser doesn't seem to match up with my cut line?? also, what blade would you recommend for multipurpose? Right now im using the factory blade that came w/it
ОтветитьWatching from Georgetown, Texas! I'm gaining more confidence in using my tools by watching your videos, especially your How To Use _______ videos! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьPainter's Tape!!! Dang!!! Thank you!
ОтветитьIf you need a straight cut every time your better off using a $5 metal stud that will not warp season to season.
ОтветитьYou two have great videos. Have you thought about a Shanty Tip for how to cut dados without a dado blade for your table saw? I have tried to use a router, but it tends to drift and leaves a bad cut. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Ответить. . . all and everything has been said already - just not by all and everybody in the USA . . .
ОтветитьCan you do a video on your cool tool wall organization?
ОтветитьGenius!!!
ОтветитьCan you use this method for ripping down 2x6’s? Great tips :)
Ответитьwatching from St Paul MN and you answered my burning question on HOW to rip plywood! Thank you!! I have a miter saw and my hubby has a circular saw so we are set! Love your tips - finding I like wood work and saws even better than my sewing machine and material :)
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!!! I appreciate videos that get to the point without the need for a long intro.
I'm building pantry shelves and I will be using this technique this week.
Brilliantly simple! Thanks.
Ответитьbig box panel cut a sheet of 3/4 oak ply into shelves. man did that splinter- never seen such. and only on the saw side. I'll be trying the painters tape for sure.
ОтветитьAwesome tips and ideas ladies!! Thank you so much for sharing this! For the longest time, I have seen job-site contractors and others use the same method of stacking a 4x8 on saw horses and ripping them until the wood comes crashing down. Not only is this dangerous, but you can easily damage the wood you are ripping. As stated by someone else, I would recommend a metal straight edge as oppose to a long piece of 2x4. Whether you guys stumble on the terminology or not, you all have great tips and I'm really appreciative of them! Keep it up!
ОтветитьThank you!!! I just want to build some tall shelves and all these other videos felt like they were trying to intimidate me into getting a table saw and 5 different fancy guides. Thank you for the direct, simple, quick video
ОтветитьI was just here to watch hot ladies do things I learned on job sites. Just to realize I don't like their dads for teaching them "they don"t need no man".
Guess I shouldn't bitch...
I taught my daughters how to fix cars, so I could cook and do our laundry hahaha!
Thank you so much
ОтветитьMy kind of ladies.
ОтветитьA very quick and sexy description of a sexy cut. It is worth watching two of you together enticingly describing the cuts. Well digested. 🙏
ОтветитьI was a bit concerned that you don't use Speed Squares to check your alignment before making your cuts. Why is that?
ОтветитьAm I missing something? This setup looks a little sketchy. If you space the 2x4's too far apart, as you cut through the wood, the pieces will bend inward and pinch the blade. Then, since you are balancing only on that single 2x4 support, you could lose your balance and cut into the floor or yourself.
It would be safer to use more 2x4's, or even better a 1-2" thick foam insulation board under the plywood sheet.
Thanks... Demn girls teaching me this
ОтветитьAll this equipment and no vacuum for the dust or at least dust mask.
I guess you love your lungs too much.
You all are AWESOME!
ОтветитьThank you so much what a great idea with the 2 by 4s. Why could you not just use the first saw to cut the second cut? (Excuse my ignorance - total newbie here)
ОтветитьI'll be doing this on a project this week. Thank you!
ОтветитьSo easy you wonder why you didn't think of it. You girls are awesome!
ОтветитьOk watched your How To's. How bout How to Cordless nailer? I ordered Ryobi cordless finish nailer
ОтветитьToby
Isenhower
One thing though, your assuming the wood guide is a straight pc of wood. You can’t get that anymore
ОтветитьDoesn't the blade bind?
ОтветитьHow do you find a 1x4 that is completely straight? Good Tip, I try to use a metal edge, like an 8 foot level or a Slotted Metal Framing Strut Channel, often used by electricians.
ОтветитьThank you for this! I only own a circular saw and a cordless drill so far and I came here just for this info. Now I have to subscribe. I mean, it's only 6:30am and you've both taught me how to make an outdoor chair and rip plywood already 😂
ОтветитьEven after 6 years this is a great video. You two have so much confidence and that is key. Mission for the day, cut with confidence . . . and safety. Thank you with a sub/likie
ОтветитьI love this. It helps a lot for those regular thickness plyboards - Big question though…. How do I rip and cut a 4’ x 8’, ⅛” thick panel board. They are thinner and not as stiff so I’m wondering if this same technique will work with that?
ОтветитьThe use of our Kunlun tooth saw blade, can be perfect to do not burst the edge does not break
Ответить
