Shia Lie Against Umar (RA)

Here are my two questions as a Muslim:

1. Why did Umar refuse to give pen and paper to the Prophet ﷺ?


2. Why did Umar give his opinion in front of Rasool Allah ﷺ when Abu Bakr, who was more senior than him, and Imam Ali (a.s.), who was more knowledgeable, were both present? Other Sahaba were also there, so why did Umar take it upon himself to speak? I still don’t understand.



When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ clearly said, "Bring me pen and paper so that I may write something for you, after which you will never go astray," what did Umar say? He responded, "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is seriously ill, and we have Allah's Book with us, and that is sufficient for us." Why did he always step forward and give his opinion in front of Rasool Allah ﷺ?

As for your other question—why didn’t Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explicitly declare Imam Ali (a.s.) as the Khalifa? It is clear that during the Calamity of Thursday, when Umar voiced his opinion, other companions were also present. His words divided the people, and Rasool Allah ﷺ may have refrained from writing Imam Ali’s name because he saw that it would create division among the Ummah.

Additionally, the last thing Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did for his beloved companions was to order them to leave. He angrily said, "Go away and leave me alone!" (not simply asking them to leave the house).

After the Prophet’s martyrdom, while his funeral was taking place, the Saqifa meeting was underway. Your beloved companions were not even present at the janazah of Rasool Allah ﷺ because they were busy planning to secure the Islamic Khilafat.

"I am leaving among you two weighty things (thaqalayn): the Book of Allah and my Ahlul Bayt (household). If you hold fast to them, you will never go astray after me, for they will never separate until they return to me at the Pond (of Kawthar)." Sunni Sources:

Hazrat Ali RA was the spiritual successor of the Prophet SAW. That title or authority wasn't given to any of the sahaba and the reason is probably genetic. The real ahlul bayt do possess the mystical knowledge of the Quran and it is not taught to any outsider. The knowledge of a scholar who has learnt from books is different from the knowledge gained from dhikr and mystical experience. Hazrat Moinuddin Chisti of Ajmer was one of the ahlul bayt. He is said to be the real emperor of India. There are articles on him on the net.

For all you guys know, the other imams after imam al-hussien did pray with the turbah. You can argue with a shia shiekh anoynomously if you want, and tell him your proof of why you think shias are wrong. But i swear to the day of judgement that i am a shia and will never change. But fr guys you should priotize to the rasul's family and NOT his friends. This is self explainatory. I beg u again, all sunnis, to ask a shia sheik and tell him your proof why shias are wrong and see how he reacts. Ask the big sheiks because this matter is not for a regular person, as if there really WAS undeniable proof, shias or sunnis wouldnt be existing.

if the prophet was sick and cant make decisions then how did he appoint abu bakr to lead his janaza and for the khilafa of ali before ghadeer kum 5:67 came down and it stats O Messenger! To all the Shias, do you believe in taqdir? If so then remember, if something happens, Allah made it happen. If something doesn't, Allah did not allow it to happen. Therefore Ali Ra didn't become the first because Allah Subhana'wata'ala didn't let him be the fitst. Now go and argue with Allah. Tell Him hes wrong and Ali should've been the first.

As a sunni.. this guy hasnt read all the hadith... the prophet saw had already assigned ali a.s as the imam.. the prophet said in minat during hajj that i am leaving 2 things of significant weight..i..e 2 treasures.. one is the quran and the ahlulbayt.. then diring the same hajj the propehet saw said ali is the master of whoever is the master. Thats simple. All sunnis accept ali a.s won all the battles in badr.. khyber..uhud.. hunain.. etc.. and didnt run away and leave the prophet which is a sign of a munafiq.. umar and abu baker were mushriks.. in surah hujrat they disrespected the propehet and lost all their good deeds.. the fact is they tan from khyber uhud and hunain. All of this is recorded in quran and hadith.. they never attended the propehets funeral and were too busy at saqifa fighting for allegiance. All the greasyest and learned sahaba never gave allegiance to abu baker.. for example ali a.s .. abu dhur ghaffari.. miqdad.. salman farsi.. ammar bin yasar.. abdullah bin masud.. the latter blessed sahaba. was the prophets saw personal secretary and stood with ali a.s..
This guy has not read mustadrik al hakim and the scathing rebuke of those that left the battle of uhud.. running from the battlefield is a major sin.. these are just a few of many reasons and cogent evidence is within sunni books to testify all the above. In sunmary abu bakar and umar were never worthy of imamat. Ali a.s was the true successor to the prophet saw.. theres a lot that i havent mentioned.
