Wow some of those harmonics are quite large. I know my Marconi rejects anything a few hundred KHz so most gear should be fine.
ОтветитьI built a 10 Mhz distribution amplifier into my gpsdo using a high speed op amp gives 4 extra outputs & is a sine wave, works for me as I only need 10 Mhz, thanks Tony
Ответитьi have a gps,,i connected to my 6 items using bnc tees,,seams to work fine,,was going to get a dis amp but never did
ОтветитьThank you very much ! ;) you're answer many of my questions.
ОтветитьHi Tony, thanks for the video I have the 10 MHz distribution amplifier and it works well. Just a note the links in the description for the "Distributer" and "Distributer" 0- 200 MHz are the same. Again thanks for posting.
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful video
ОтветитьWow nice episode 👏👌
ОтветитьHello Toni, which is better, a GPS disciplined generator or a DCF 77 generator?
ОтветитьThanks Tony, I'm relatively new to electronics and still finding my feet. Your videos have been very helpful and informative. I like the way you deliver your tutorials too.
ОтветитьHow high is the signal output from these? I saw one video that said its 6V / 14dbm. I dont think 14dbm is 6v pp. Anyway is the output level low enough to connect to equipment without using Attenuators?
ОтветитьThis was just the information I needed. Thanks for this video.
ОтветитьTony, when you plug a BNC into your distribution amps up on the shelf, they don't slide around. How do you fix them without any obvious brackets?
Thanks for an informative video. It helped me choose the right unit for my application.
The very definition of producing a good square wave output is to have strong odd harmonics, that is how a square wave is built. If you don't have them, you don't have a square wave. So I was bemused by you talking about the first schmitt trigger buffer distributor, but be concerned about its harmonics. If it didn't have those, it wouldn't be doing a good job!
ОтветитьThis is one was made one year ago but it never gets old !
Video like this are a great contribution to the community, pioneering product use for us and explaining how to use them.
Thank you Tony
Hi.. Thank you so much for your GPS-DO videos.
I purchased one for my “ham” bench just for extra educational purposes.
(I had a CVA/stroke a while ago which left me with much of my memory and memories missing)
So.. I’m re-learning everything involving my hobbies and previous career and have found your videos to be excellent.
Thank you + 73 from the USofA
I’ve watched this video 3x - another great video!
Is the first link in the description to the amplifier with built in band pass filter?
Thank you!
Thanks Tony. Finding your explanations and descriptions of your gear to be very thorough and to the point.
