Funny when you try to think of Dickish American TV hosts, and the only two that come to mind are British anyway.
ОтветитьWhy are you exploring your viewers by uploading content?
ОтветитьAlways here for a good Caleb Hammer hate video. Used to be a big fan of the original show. Now I can't stand what it's become or him.
ОтветитьDamn I wish you knew that he used to hire actors in the early stages of his channel
ОтветитьUsed to eatch a loy. Can't snymore
ОтветитьI’m of the opinion that if it requires a clickbaity channel to yell at this current generation to not make the financial mistakes others have made, then so be it. I have adult children who are doing alright but their friends do not understand money.
ОтветитьIn his earlier shows he used to give his financial advice for free during the shows, so earlier episodes were useful to watch. But as the pressure of monetization has grown, hes leaned further into the drama of the show and hidden his tips and his programmes behind a paywall
ОтветитьCaleb Hammer is a prick, and Ian Danskin (Innuendo Studios) is a scammer.
ОтветитьDamn I knew this guy is a landlord, but I didn't know he was course grifting so hard! Absolutely rancid vibes.
ОтветитьI had to unsubscrube after Rico Suave
ОтветитьIt already was with online drama content, particularly among streamers
ОтветитьI've been watching them, I admit. I find them entertaining. Yes, the guests are mocked but they did sign up for them... And they're American...
ОтветитьCaleb Hammer is very exploitative, I used to watch the videos, but he seems to enjoy being mean and insulting WAY too much!
ОтветитьThe saddest part of this channel is that people know what they're getting in to when they agree to come on, and still do it anyway. They feel like their financial situation is so bad that they need a jerk to insult, moralize and yell at them for an hour.
ОтветитьLefties will do literally anything to not admit innuendo studios got into debt because he barely worked, and scammed his idiot fan base into paying for his trip to japan
ОтветитьBruv, I've been following Caleb since his 15k sub run. The quality of the guests has degraded significantly in the last year or so BUT his show has kept me motivated. I see his episodes as cautionary tales because at one point I was worse than any of his guests. Idug my way out of debt, I built my emergency fund and I am now saving and investing in my future. I get that he's not for everyone but neither is Dave Ramsey.
ОтветитьThank you for talking about Caleb’s show.
ОтветитьThe title should have been "Spoons? Spoons! Spoons?"
Ответить38? Why are actual adults appearing on this thing? Browbeating 21 year olds is definitely more his lane.
ОтветитьI used to like his early videos. It was rational and calm, and the people just had regular debt and lacked financialknowledge and saving skills. Now it's people making ludicrous investments, lying to partners and generally making irresponsible decisions. It's a financial version of the Gerry Springer Show
ОтветитьGlad to know I'm not crazy because I watched some of his early videos and I did like it.....but literally at a certain subscriber count it started feeling weird..... I had to check out after that.
ОтветитьA while back some stuff came out that he was sending pron in a group chat with minors too… everything about this guy screams red flag
Ответить“Who is americas Simon cowell?” Me thinking to myself: “uhhh idk Simon cowell? He was THE judge on American Idol wdym Piers Morgan”
“Oh Simon cowell is Americas Simon Cowell”
Me: thank god he realized this immediately
I liked Caleb initially and used to subscribe - he used to be a lot more helpful and had varied guests who were mostly receptive and worked well with them. He still gives some good advice but as the show got more producer involvement it was clear the team were just bringing people in for drama more than anything else - Caleb has also gotten meaner over the episodes. Oh and whenever they have a trans person on the comments always slander and misgender them constantly and Caleb and his team do nothing about it
ОтветитьI have a really strong suspicion that a lot of these are fake, or the stories are real (but embellished) with actors who are actually being paid to be yelled at for content
ОтветитьYeah I liked it at first but stopped watching when he started getting mean
ОтветитьI was on the show fairly recently. Very little financial advice was given and instead, slandered my good name and who I am as a person. Looking at a potential lawsuit against him
ОтветитьHe sold out. I watched him earlier before he blew up. I guess he just found the formula that gets the most views.
Ответитьi stopped watching his slop after he deemed someone “fake trans” and let transphobia run wild in his comment section
ОтветитьHe’s like a reverse pay pig
ОтветитьKeep up the good work, Tom. There will always be an audience for bullying people. Bullying is very common in the US, and it's entertaining for many sick people to watch or participate in. There are never any legal penalties for bullying. Thus you have school shootings, and many other social problems stemming from this.
ОтветитьCan't lie, I saw this coming a million miles away and that's why I never got into Caleb's content. He has ALWAYS seemed like a smug, insufferable jackass who only uses people for content and doesn't actually care about helping them.
ОтветитьAlso: Caleb Hammer is a creep and the way he talks to/about trans people is disgusting.
Ответить100% agree with you. I used to watch Caleb’s early videos and they were good and felt informative but at some point he started catering to people in his audience only watch to make themselves feel better. sort of like pointing at someone and laughing at them. I stopped watching him, because it is so counterproductive. Shame shuts most people down, so most people who go on his show get bullied and never get actual help they need. I get that individuals have to accountable for their actions to improve in future, but one cannot be bullied into being responsible. Such a shame that Caleb went viral because of his horrible content and not his earlier content that was meaningful.
ОтветитьI'm confused on why people come on the show now afterr seeing what the episodes are like. Especially when they start to get offended. I don't agree with what Caleb says a lot of times, but did the guest think he wouldn't be mean to them too when they came on???
ОтветитьI stopped watching after an episode where it was a young woman who had a rough situation growing up but was actually not doing not that bad and was being pretty smart to get advice when she had basically zero parental financial guidance.
The comments were shitting on her like she was one of the crazier cases and it gave me a very bad vibe considering she very likely could read the comments
I don’t know if he still does but for a while he was calling himself Caleb springer
ОтветитьHis commemt sections are such a hotbed for racism, sexism, transphobia, slut shaming, etc. Like its very gross how hard he panders to the incel/manosphere losers by calling any woman who dares do any kind of sexwork a loser whos wasting their life.
At one point there was a woman on who was doing OF behind her bfs back and posting aboit where she lived alone wirh her daughter amd instead of him going "thats not safe. Thats not fair to your partner. You are making bad choices that will harm others by doing OF this way."
It was just "ughhh gross, you prey on pathetic men for money and your partners a simp!" It was so...weird?? And ofc the comments were disgusting. Jts crazy how they made me side with someome who lies to their partner and endangered their kid.
I came across that channel and found the guy lame. Good to know I wasn't wrong
ОтветитьHe started off good then he turned into Jeremy Kyle, completely abusing his guest. The French Canadian guy (I forgot his name) that did do the same thing without the abuse was good but he has stopped it due to cost.
ОтветитьI was a big fan of financial audit in its early days. It genuine did come across as something that was trying to be helpful, they did go in on the guests, but it felt a lot less like an entire attack on their life and only on their financial choices.
Lately it’s just started to feel like Jerry Springer, and my viewership has fallen off.
Sometimes I go back to give it another shot, and I rarely if ever get through an episode. It just feels like bullying with the guise of helping.
The early financial audits felt so compassionate and it’s part of what I liked. Even the ad reads stressed “only if you’re in a good place financially”. Now it’s all yelling, picking the most insane people possible, and pushing more and more paid memberships. I’m so disappointed
ОтветитьI'm kinda nosey, so I was initially intrigued by the financial audit channels. It got mean and sad too quick, I didn't want to see people actually ruining their lives essentially get bullied.
ОтветитьI used to watch the channel quite regularly, but stopped because I didn't like what it did to me as a person. Sitting at home, sneering at someone who has financial troubles when I can clearly remember what that felt like - I don't want to be that kind of person.
ОтветитьYea I couldn’t watch his stuff he’s so unnecessarily mean and arrogant. It’s such a turn off
ОтветитьThis guy seems like a nasty piece of work. Watching a whole episode of this would be exhausting, who has the energy for this?😮💨
