Southern California didn't have a problem until Trump got involved. Authoritarianism is happening NOW. The protesting was peaceful until the ICE-hired radical Right Magas got involved. Quiet so far in Cleveland. Many sirens mostly at night, but that's just about every day. A retired Cleveland police officer died in a house fire pretty close to us. Every day, it's something. No where near enough firemen if they start burning down the city. Maybe they should train the National Guard in some basic firefighting.

The town nearest to me as a population of about 1,500 people. I called the police department to make sure this protest was permitted and to see what measures will be taken to keep the town safe. He said that they did acquire a permit and that they were expecting 500-600 people which is a LOT for a town that size. He wouldn’t reveal what safety measures would be employed.
