I envision it this way: Random Tennessee citizen at the airport (possibly for the first time ever) "I can't believe i saw Dusty Slay AND Brian Bates taking pictures with some random dude!!! What a lucky guy!!!!!

I’m curious if Nate has a no kissing policy like some of the other Christian actors? I mean I understand it would be nice to smooch with Mandy Moore but I don’t imagine Laura would care too much for that.

Boss man Bates might not be the funniest guy, but he always brings the funniest! Wherever he is, whoever he’s with : always gold! I haven’t seen him live at all, but I’m sure that’s ok too!

Christian Bale blending in is crazy! Batman Bates was wrong though about his accent. He’s from Wales, not Australia.

While speaking about Breakfast’s youthful appearance, Nate says “well he was born a baby.” How surprised will he be when he finds out we were all born babies? Good stuff! Love the podcast!

Great episode! And "Empire of the Sun" is by far Christian Bale's best movie.

In my mind, Mandy Moore is Rebecca Pearson and is married to Jack Pearson. Not sure how I'm going to feel about seeing her married to Nate in The Breadwinner.

You guys can keep trying to make me think “oh man! Working man boots” but every time I hear this and read, I hear “old man” and picture of these as the new balance boots of the boot world.

When Mandi Moore said all of this isn’t lost on me, I thought her and Nate were made to be married in the movie 😂

The fact that Dusty laughs at someone who gets paid to rearrange things after pitching the idea fire “The Rearranger,” is comedy at its best.

Will has a great movie out now on Netflix, remake of The Four Seasons.

Will Forte just seems like the NICEST guy! When he hugged everyone, it made me like him even more!

As a day one caller, I never thought I’d see the day that my favorite comic, my favorite actress & a story about my favorite actor would all collide. Best episode yet! Can’t wait to see the movie & see just how far all you little podcasters go!!

Can’t wait to see The Breadwinner with all of you in it! I love Mandy Moore. My daughter, her friend, and I met Mandy Moore walking on a side street in St Louis, MO near Union Station when she was opening for the backstreet boys back in the day. She was with one of her dancers and was very kind to the girls. She talked with them for a while and signed autographs for them. Unfortunately my daughter’s flew out the window on the way home, but she never forgot that day. She was so nice and I appreciated that. She is one of our favorite actors. I love that you are all in the movie. It makes it even better! Congratulations!

I have been told I interview people dismissively like Brian does the rest of the pod when they comment about things. Someone will give a long thought out answer to an interview question and I’ll respond “OK“ and immediately ask the next question.

Holy cow, what a big episode!! I don't often rewatch podcast episodes, but this one will be watched again in the future! Love it, and I can't wait to see the movie! My wife and I already have a date night planned when it's released!

My husband bought himself Brunt Boots for Father’s Day, after a trip to Scheel’s. When he got home, he let me know, and then said, “I thought brunt boots was just another name for Brian.” 😂😂😂😂 on a more serious note, he loves the boots—got the Maren.

I live in the neighborhood and was one of the people who was out watching the scenes. It was so much fun. My kids loved it and I couldn’t help but think some of them may be inspired by seeing this take place in their neighborhood. And really, the best part was knowing that this will definitely be a movie we can take our kids to. The neighbors have all been talking about how we want to get together and go see it as a neighborhood when it comes out.

I have been watching this podcast regularly and really enjoy the bond you all share. I listen carefully and some of the side comments, in the midst of the larger conversation are priceless, so quick is the wit. You all seem to appreciate each other and are very supportive of the successes you all enjoy. I am a fan. The Dusty, Arron exchange regarding seeking employment in the desert industry and Aaron comes back with, "its not too late for a pivot." It clear how much you all enjoy each others company and its fun to go along for the ride.

I like to think John intentionally leaves out one of the guys every time he has a big announcement. With the roast it was Dusty now Aaron with late night. Next he’ll invite everyone but bates to the wedding and announce his kid to everyone except Nate 😂

I don't know if mandy moore is always this sweet or she has be swallowed by hollywood, but either way I'm glad you got her out of the way first

Super excited to see Nate coming this weekend to Evansville IN!! I got tickets the day they went on sale back in Dec as a Christmas gift for my husband!
I'm planning to give him a quick shout out at church that morning as I'm on for announcements. Even our pastor & his wife will be at his show! Hope to see Nate's dad too!

I always love Nateland and I love all the fellas personally but I really enjoyed this episode for its cross over and everyone's dynamic got to shine. Great episode. Thanks for the look into the guts of the movie.

Before y'all even mentioned Adam Sandler, I was already loving how Nate is reminding me so much of Sandler by bringing his buddies along with his success. I have been listening/watching this podcast for several years now and it is so awesome seeing it go from a "We don't know what this even is" podcast to what it is now. It has been a FUN ride already watching all of you grow in success. Cannot WAIT for this movie! Very excited to see a movie like this WITH my kids!
