EW really has to add some night vision binos with the same white phosphorus look as the new scope. Going back and forth between that annoying bright green light and the new white light is going to give everyone a big headache.

Maybe with the update tomorrow I will be able to load the game again.

Still wish we had a zeroing system that worked like hunting unlimited three did, where you had to know the come-ups for each weapon in MOA. Once you figured that out you could dial out to render distance.

I’m excited to have the mosin feel a bit more authentic with the crossbar T reticle.

I’m assuming that FoxPro may have provided the new sounds. And I’d like to see what the Argus looks like if they redid the scopes.

I loose interest in cotw for months at a time then go back for months at a time and I think this is gonna get me back into it

Maybe one day we'll be able to customize the outside of the scopes as well. Even something as simple as changing from a matte finish to gloss would be nice, same with the rings. There's alot of weapon skin combinations you can make that look really good, but then the scopes just look completely out of place.

is it just me or waws the logo REALLY crisp in the opening? Like unusually so? Maybe my monitor today...otherwise...I'm SO Stoked for the new scopes!

One thing that would be awesome is to be able to customize the thickness of the cross air.

The original scopes were garbage,especially when they neutered the 8-16x with the thick ocular lens housing. Woth did it right from the beginning so not sure what EW was thinking.

Maybe that's not really a new warning call for the bear, but a clue for a new map.

Scopes look good but the whole screen changing colour when using the night scope is pretty bad.

Flinter the shotguns got a new upgrade on the sites

the developers could have simply improved the basic viewfinders, instead of putting paid DLS viewfinders which doesn't change anything at all. I don't see any difference with the basic viewfinders apart from the cosmetics. once again unnecessary update and adds unnecessary content through a paid DLC which could have been free. where the viewfinders could have been integrated into the shift. Especially since they are basic in the classic. Expansives World and Avalanches Word Studio are putting themselves on the backs of players. like all publishers and dev studios, this way of doing things has become a cancer

I’m kinda neutral on the new scopes. I like that the shading is on the scopes but if it’s low light or foggy I feel you’re gonna be relying more on the animal outline. The reticles will be a huge advantage. Either way I am excited for some new content.

They should have the ability to change between white and green phosphor for night vision scopes and binoculars.

I've always found it weird that when actually hunting i usually use 1-8x even out to 400 yards in varying terrain and brush. Sometimes I'll go 3-12 on speed goats in the open prairies. Everything feels clearer, bigger, and easier to acquire and track in my lower power real life scopes than in any of these renderings in this game. It just feels like they hamper visibility instead of enhance it...

Night vision in this game is a Joke
