USA-NASA NEEDS TO INVENT "ANTI GRAVITY" POWER TO LAUNCH VEHICLES. THE CURRENT "EXPLODING OF HYDROGEN GAS " IS JUST TOO FREAKING SCARY!!! YES, THE HYDROGEN IS ACTUALLY EXPLODING OUT OF NOZZLES!!!!!

...I don't know where they are getting this 220db estimate; the maximum sound that can be produced at sea level is 194db; if you were standing 1500m away at the time of the launch (on the LC39 observation gantry, for example), you would be hit with 150db of sound, which Is 1000 times louder than the loudest rock concert you have ever heard; results would not be very pretty.

the saturn V launch sound is the second loudest man made noise ever - after a nuclear bomb explosion ( i know that there were several and a lot of them louder than 220db, but lets just count them as one).
