Why nobody said that it makes the display smaller?

I never had a real a-z keyboard on my phone. The keys were too small for me. I prefer touchscreen keyboard because they have the swipe keyboard feature which I use a lot.

Mentioned everything but the fact that touch keyboards use the display to work and that much space is used to display other content when the keyboard is not being used thus making it more compact.

Yeah like i use gboard and it is just fine it works really good the reason people miss the physical keyboards are the feeling of pressing it and getting used to the buttons but now the non phisycal buttons are better why? well it can be more customized and if you get used to the no button keyboard it really isn't that bad so the new non-physical keyboards are better but, the physical keyboards are still are awsome in their own ways.

Samsung tried reviving this trend after blackberry died, they made cases that can add a physical keyboard to your s7 or s8, but they failed

I had a hte phone with physical keyboard the keyboard broke so i PUNCHED the phone and the keyboard was good as new

Phones became a consumer product. Gaming and consuming content has become a thing we do more on our phones then call people / send mails.

I think the real reason is because they want to make thinner phones and they need the most space they can get to store components inside the phone

Physical keyboards were super nice for when you had to type. Totally annoying in every other circumstance. Not great for accessibility or to sell phones in multiple markets
