To me, when Elder Bednar asks the participants for feedback on the answers he gives to their questions, it seems a little manipulative. I keep thinking, "of course they're going to say his answers are helpful - he's an apostle - what are they going to do, question or denigrate his answers in front of everyone during a recorded broadcast that millions of people will see? And then, when they say his answer was helpful, he then denigrates his own answer and says it was nothing that he said, it was all the spirit. So he basically contradicts the very same feedback that he himself asked for in the first place. He might as well not ask for feedback and just skip that fake part and just tell people that if they had any positive impressions while he was talking it must be The Holy Ghost. I believe he may earnestly think this is a helpful or productive way to conduct the Q and A, but to me at least it comes off as a little false and manipulative. If anyone at church HQ reads this, I hope you will share it with Elder Bednar - I think think he can and should be able to handle the constructive criticism. I'm writing this because I care and am trying to take the message seriously but also be honest about my thoughts and feelings. But Elder Oaks said it's wrong to criticize church leaders, even if the criticism is true. So I guess that means I am doing something wrong by leaving this comment and I need to repent and just be quiet and only say good things about Elder Bednar no matter what he does? Oh wait, it's ok to criticize as long as I do it nicely and in a spirit of love and behind closed doors and in private right? That would mean leaders can do things wrong in public but members can't talk about it in public - seems like some kind of double standard.

My brothers in humanity ... I am a muslim and i want any Christian who knows his religion well ... to answer me only two questions...First one...Jesus spoke about the father and said "  this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3...so From the Holy Trinity Who is the only true God, Father, Son, Holy Spirit "...? !!

Second: Christ speaks Aramaic and knows Hebrew, and was originally sent to the "sheeps of the house of Israel" according to the Bible ... So Are there any Aramaic or Hebrew Bibles, and the current gospels writing time dating back to any century ? !! Are there any manuscripts dating back to the first century of the era of Christ ?! Are the current Gospels considered a revelation from God, or are they just a history of events written by ordinary people ?!

Let the holy spirit guide so wonderful.. thank you for this event..

Thank you to the young man who's wife has passed away, so brave of him to be there and even more to ask that question, a question that I think is probably (for me anyways the number one question ever)..... what is God's will for me. It's a question that comes and goes in my mind.... the world and my mind bombards us with the 'shoulds'..... should have the perfect job, should be brave, should have this and that etc. So thank you of the reminder is our 'shoulds' is keeping the covenants and Jesus will deal with the rest.

I wish the apostle had expressed sorrow for the loss that young husband had suffered. IMO such an example would have gone further in instructing us about Gods will than a lecture about covenants and ordinances.

As i prayerful waited for the broadcast, so did our heavenly father used to answer my prayers.

There was a song that played before the program started that was sung by the same people who sung 'Teach me to Walk. I think it was 'Lord I would follow thee'. Does anyone know where I can find it to listen to it again?

I feel like declaring our faith rather than defending it feels weird. People leave the church because they have unanswered questions. I feel like that’s important. Jesus taught to leave the 99 for the 1. If you aren’t defending your faith and hearing people out, how will you reach the 1 that may need someone to defend the church in order to understand it better?

We have been trying to get the missionaries to come on a regular basis but you change them so often it has made it impossible we have only been able to get them maybe 15x in 6 years QUIT MOVING them around ever 3 weeks GEEZ LAWEEZ

These questions and the suggested actions taken will reveal the answers. I love my Savior and his love for each of us.

Is there a way to get sheet music for the special musical number at the beginning? Is is so beautiful and set a wonderful tone to the meeting! Does anyone know how to access it?

Hmm...interesting that Elder Rasband seemed to mention the gifts of the spirit in a sort of hierarchical way, one being more progressed than the other. I wonder though if having the gift of believing on the words of others is just as great a gift as being the one who knows.
